I think there is plenty of space in the profile section.....people don't use it (including me) for obvious reasons. Look at rebgirl there.....do you somehow think she didn't find enough space to let us all know about James Maynard Keenan....who I don't even know who that is? But I know she loves him.....
my point is people don't even fill out what's there already. Why clutter it up with more blank spaces?
My posts are my profile. They say everything I need to say.
If you aren't intelligent enough to figure me out from reading my posts, why then, would I want to give you MORE personal information?
And BEYOND that, are the sig lines. If I wanted to give a message to everyone here, that's a much more direct way of doing it.
In this poll, I agree 75% with billionfold. I don't necessarily think it would kill the site or anything, but I don't want or need it, so why waste the bandwidth?
I'd MUCH rather have some kind of PM system. You learn a lot more from talking to someone than from looking at a page that really only reflects their web skills, not their real personality.

Sure, leave a space for your resume, your school records, medical records (especially blood type), likes, dislikes, hobbies, street address, your sexual history, credit report, arrest records, and how much weed you have smoked.

I wish there was an option for "I agree with neither one of you, who cares, it doesn't matter one way or the other."
