Lieberman: Bomb Iran If It Doesn't Stop

We gotta keep in mind that Iranain markings on munitions isn't proof of Iranian government involvement. I've said it before and I'll say it again, we justify violent bullshit by generalizing millions under a common label, in this case "Iranian". The government may be involved, but thus far we have no proof; it could just as easily be some decenting officers, or munitions warehouses, or independant militias secretly supplying the Iraqi insurgency. But as usual, people see the markings of "Iran" and think no further than "Iran".

Isn't it great putting one face on a complex situation? Makes it so much easier to figure shit out.

Yippy skippy? Not exactly that black and white. Whether it be Iranians or Americans that commited the above mentioned act, you do need to check who was involved and if it was government sanctioned. If the American government said "no, we didnt' do that, somebody hijacked our munitions", you call for an investigation! Otherwise any terrorist or militia based asshole could send 2 nations to war without their governments even initiating the conflict! Could you imagine?

Howdy fishman,

Sounds like yer solution is to surrender,and if ya go ahead and convert to Islam now,yer life may be spared and ya won't have to pay the jizra tax for dhimmini's such as yer self.

In order to cut-off our supply lines,Iran would have to establish air superiority first,which they will never be able to do..and if they attack our fleet,that would be an act of war and we'd open a big fat can of whup-ass on em.

The supply line they would cut would be out of the gulf, not in. You don't need air superiority to hit a tanker with a misssile. And perhaps you should edit you're signature to include "unless you're pakistan".
