I've seen an old lady run over people at bus stop. They simply lack the mental agility, two old people pranged my driving instructors car when I was taking lessons, one reversed straight into the back of me, when I was parked. Women can't drive either, there is a reason they are safer drivers, they drive very slowly and take a very long time to do manoveurs.
didnt you guys ever hear about that story that happened in san francisco i think
an elderly driver went down into a flea market i think and killed 8 people or something
there should definately should be some kind of test after 70
i read an article in goverment class the other day about a man who hadn't taken a driving test since 1920 or something like that and that should not happen
About 1 and a half months ago this old guy crash right into the side of the restauraunt and his WHOLE car was at lest 10 feet into it. So obviously he didnt hit the brakes til' after the fact..
Jeez..
Nice... But its actually me! Thanks thoughQuote:

i mean just cuz you can operate a car to a T by driving standards, doesn't in the least mean you're mentally capable of reasoning, and since we're talking about mobile 3000 lbs of steel... o.0 well we've already seen what just the slightest lapse in judgement can do..
this was actually a huge issue between my parents and my grandmother (my mom's mom)
my grandparents got divorced, my grandmother came to live with us. she lived with us for 6 years, her driving was seriously starting to become a problem, and my parents didn't want her driving me or my little brother around. one time i was riding with her, and she had her little miniature maltese in the back, and she took a hand off of the steering wheel, turned around, and tried to pet the dog. we were on the highway, and i had to grab the wheel to keep from being in a head on collision. i told my parents about it because it scared the hell out of me. they eventually got into a huge argument about it, because they asked her to stop driving. so she just moved out, and went up to illinois. now she has dementia, has had it for almost a year, and only stopped driving when her doctor took away her license about a month ago. i'm honestly surprised she didn't kill anyone or get killed herself.
Teenagers are involved in more fatal accidents than senior citizens, and people under 25 aren't far behind.
My grandfather drove professionally until he died in his late 80's, and never had one single accident. He started driving as a chauffer around 1920, and later worked for auto dealerships, garages, and other car-related busnesses. He even had a heart attack, in his 40's, while driving his family down Bear Mountain, an extremely treacherous road in New York State, and got through that without a problem. Some people are better at it than others, obviously.
^^ he is one of a kind then, my gpa is like that now  he drives in the Colorado mountain
i hate old people in general, idk they just scare me
