I would get a 400 HPS/ MH now. They are cheap. You get what you put into lights. I can get 3/4 pound from 6 plants in a small drip with 1000 HPS. Or double that for a one time shot. I could get more if I had more room and went DWc buckets. Your not going to get much from clf's.
GH 3 part flora gro, micro and bloom.Look at the sponsers. Everyone has it. You will need PH up and down and cal mag plus too.
now is there going to be anything i need to look for if im gonna use well water?(ppm wise?)

There are different types of Micro you can use and using the proper one is important.
CalMag Plus is something also you want to have and use.
Lucky you if you have good clean well water, my city water is almost RO quality. It comes from an old spring in the mountains and comes out of the tap at 76 PPM.
They do have a micro for hard water and that is when your PPM is over 150.
how long into the grow are cfls effective for? i have 4x100w ones im gonna use til i can get a better one...i was reading latewoods diy 1000w light in the grow faqs section, now im just curious if his setup he made is for hps only or hps/mh? and if its not for both, is it possible to make it for both?
and one other thing, do you need covers for the netpots? will light get through to create algae? or is it not a problem?
:( someone answer me please? i need to know if i can do my first grow on cfls or not. and if i can/do, whats the yield difference gonna be from using an hps/mh?
