i have no idea but i was smoking with one of my dads buddies one night..call me ryan leaf cuz i was blitzed..anyway the only thing i really remember from the night was he said catnip was made out of the male mj plant..knowing what i know now, i dont think its true but anyone have any ideas?

Catnip is a member of the mint family. Some folks claim it can get you mildly high/tranquilized. It has been used as a calming tea by herbalists. It is NOT from male cannabis plants. (Incidentally, smoking male plants CAN get you buzzed, but only about half what their sisters will do to you. Yes, I've smoked males! And yes, they got me buzzed.) And I still think your dealer is trying to pull a fast one!
