PEARL JAM definately
HOW DARE YOU COMPARE NIRVANA TO THAT RIFF RAF!
I respect both Nirvana and Pearl Jam. Their styles can't be compared because let's face it, they were only labeled together because of image. Musically they couldn't be further apart.
Nirvana
nirvana, easy. eddie veddars singing is effin annoying. total precursor to nu metal vocals. he sounds like a cowboy in the city. 'aww yeauh, yeeeeauuuhhhh"
loll pearl jams solos are wakk, the only album i respect is Ten and thats only because i used to like it when i was younger and i admit a few songs are decent like Jeremy and Garden but none of there other albums can compare. i mean cmon... wtf was viatology.Quote:

I bet anyone 13-16 that listens to nirvana will find atleast one song where they would think kurt is 'speaking to them'.
but neither band is anything too special
only Pearl Jam song I like is No Way
excuse me for my bad language, but how the FUCK is nirvana beating Pearl Jam?!?! Pearl Jam is a WAYYY better band... songs, lyrics, instrumentals... just my opinion...
am i the only one who thinks nirvana is god awful music?
... just wow. I have nothing to say to this.Quote:

Whereas PJ is still pushing it, still relevant.
