Kottonmouth Kings, Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, Bob Dylan, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Jefferson Airplane, Jimmy Hendrix, and one of my favorites...
Weed & Exstacy by 8Ball & MJG!!!!
Me and my friends listen to a lot of stuff. We listen to a lot of Ben Harper, Linkin Park, Pink Floyd (we actually listen to Pink Floyd almost every time we're blazed), or just the radio.
At the moment we found a new "group theme song." It's Blueberry Yum Yum by Ludacris. We listened to it almost allllll last night from 7 to 10.
Yeah Ludacris's new cd (Red Light District) seems to be for totally getting fucked up too. I enjoy Blueberry Yum Yum, Child Of The Night, The Potion, and Two Miles Per Hour (Best stoneing song!)
as far as rap goes...
bone thugs and harmony - bnk, weed man, for the love of money, bud smokers only, resurrection (paper, paper), first of the month, fried day, thug mentality
especially lazy bone aka l burna seems to have a lot of songs that deal with herb like "smoke on"
afroman - colt 45
2pac - ambitionz as a rider, shorty wanna be a thug, basically any of the old tupac stuff as well as the new "loyal to the game" LP that was produced by eminem
biggie - everyday struggle, sky's the limit, machine gune funk, etc. etc.
talib kweli - get by, good to you, "black starr" cd with mos def is good
common - food
ziggy marley - one good spliff (not rap... well kind of one of the best blazing songs)
twista - kill us all, show's over, sunshine, hope
three six mafia / hynoptize camp posse - who run it, sippin on the syrup, where's the bud, one hitta quitta, many many more, project pat out of 3-6 is especially dope
the roots - seed 2.0, etc
T.I. - Bezzle, be easy, etc. the entire "trap muzik" cd is tite
Outkast - lot of the older stuff is alot better, crumblin herb,
southerplaylisticcadillacfunkymuzik, aquemini, da art of storytelling... along the same lines look into goodie mob and peeps like big gipp
Nas - nas is like, if i ruled the world, halftime, got yourself a gun, made you look, a lot of the songs off "illmatic" is sweet
Dr. Dre - "The Chronic" (the cd) is a must have
SnoopDogg - "Doggystyle" is also a must have cd that is well worth the 12 bucks
Wu-tang Clan - "36 chambers" is also another must have cd
west side connection / mack 10 / ice cube / etc. - connected for life, today was a good day, you know how we do it, bow down, etc. etc.
JadaKiss - Time's up, Why?, etc.
Guerilla black - Compton, trixxx, etc.
Eminem / D12 - drug ballad, as the world turns, rain man, too many good songs to name, just go out and get the slim shady LP which is one of the best cds of the 90's
De la Soul feat. Readman - Ooooh
Big L - Way of life, da graveyard, etc.
Beastie Boys, Beanie Man, A tribe called quest, Fabolous, Eric B. and Rakim, 8ball and MJG, UGK, Kanye West, Jin, Hitek...
This is in no way a complete list, but I think that it should have you on your way to a nice rap cd collection... ENJOY!
