Great Spirit was a member that got banned numerous times. He has showed up with many user names.
He usually pissed people off by calling them various names. He was a conspiracy nut. But I liked him. He gave the politics board a different view.

depends, i have been banned before and i didn't make a new name...
if i got a perma-ban... well :D
If i've been banned i'm normally pissed off with whoever did it so the last thing i want to do is come on here, so no, i wouldnt bother. Wouldnt you have to change your email and IP too? There's no point. I might if i was banned permantly - but i'd probably blow my cover with my first post.
many that are banned try to reregister, like we mods are idiots...
and it really isnt too hard to get banned permenantly...i bet i could accomplish this task in 3 minutes flat.....lol
I cant imagine myself ever saying something bad enough to be banned for a long period of time. It doesnt seem worth the effort to make a whole new identity.
