"Shake Dog Shake" by The Cure
That jam in between 'Carry that weight' and 'The End', on the beatles 'Abbey Road' album.
The instrumental one, where Lennon, Harrison, and Clapton are trading guitar licks.
It don't get better'n that.
i think the most banging bass riff is from down on the corner by CCR
Hey, Yeah!
You guys know your music. Led Zep, The Stones, even CCR. Apparently, there are a lot of really old hippies visiting this site. "psteve" even listed the Beatles Abbey Road round robin jam right before "The End". THAT was a very hip observation.
As long as we are talking about all these "classic rock riffs" let's not forget:
Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Good"
Jimi Hendrix's "Voodoo Child"
Carlos Santana's "Black Majic Woman"
I guess old stoners still love their music. Rock On. Peace.
Sympathy for the devil.(stones) Cowgirl in the sand and down by the river.(Neil Young) Black Napkins(Frank Zappa) Blue Wind and Freeway Jam.(Jeff Beck) Flying Turkey Trot.(REO Speedwagon)
