It would be easy to prove. They would have dates for each activation, and I'm sure your ISP could help you prove your case. If it went to court and it was discovered they optained their information without a warrent, I can't imagine it progressing in most U.S. courts.

I'm not sure how phone taps work, but I imagine the legalities would be very similar.

I still think it's fucked up and they need to stay out of our lives. But I don't think it is as dangerous as everyone is afraid of.

In order to do a proper job, somewhat, there would have to be one agent/5 people........that equals 2 million agents in order to do the job.

Total added cost to the budget at a meager $30,000/ agent?

$60,000,000,000! That figure doesn't even include materials needed, benifit plans, social security benifits paid, etc.........

Unless your receiving phone calls/or having internet chat from Pakistan, Iran, or others don't worry about it......

You shouldn't start being frightened when the government has the ability to overlook internet activity, but rather when they have the governmental power to do so(and interest for that matter).

Between this, the PATRIOT Act, Military Commisions Act(and the fact that they even excercized the measures thereof before it was even passed[eg Jose Padilla]), NSA wiretappings... I've said it before and I'll say it again, welcome to the land of the free, people.

Showing attention to the detrimental disasters this administration has caused to our civil liberties is not a Democrat-Republican issue, people. It is not a party-line issue, but rather an issue of civil liberties. This administration disapoints me; and that is not a partisan point of view.

I actually find this funny as hell. In this forum people post their faces, the city that they live in, their grow or pics showing their stash or a pic of themselves toking up; and then a thread like this appears and people act like their concerned about being busted.
