Happy Mother's Day to all the mums out there

so yesterday i call up my mom to wish her a happy mothers day, i get her on the line and she asks me why im calling her (i dont usually call her unless something is wrong) i tell her i have to call her its mothers day. she says to me: no it isnt its sunday, its always sunday. so i think to myself, what the fuck it says mothers day on the damn calender. so i tell my mom, you're full of shit it is mothers day i put it in the calender of my phone to remind me. i get up, go look at the calender. FUCK its mothers day in Mexico.

yeah my mom has probably told that story a million times by now, she thought it was hilarious.

Bollocks i forgot. i'll have to get my old lady a bottle of wine, maybe some sherry and a joint.

Hey, folks. Thanks to Ken for starting this thoughtful thread. Just wanted to remind you to wish your mom a Happy Mother's Day today. You don't have to do anything fancy. But it is always nice when our kids remember the occasion and just say thanks or something like that. Happy Mother's Day to my mom, my mother-in-law and to my little sister, who will be a new mom in six more months!

Woo I'm going to my Grandmothers house to grub with some friends and family. I love my mommy! She's the absolute best:thumbsup:

It's ok, i checked. Our mothers day is in march i think. Not today though. We're safe - and i havnt got to spend money on sherry :)

I love my mom. I cleaned the house for her while she was at church with my dad . She hasnt gotten back yet but I'm pretty sure she'll like the surprise. I also got her some fancy popcorn (she eats a lot of popcorn). I hope she makes some as soon as she gets back because I'm hungry after cleaning all morning
