These look female
Male suspects
Nice grow dude, keep us updated ! Peace.
looks nice. bye bye guys , hello ladies
Thanks for the comments. :) I have just updated the grow log with similar pics justs the males nuts a bit bigger. Waiting for someone more experienced than myself as this is my first grow to confirm I have got the sex right & I will thin out the boys to make space for the ladies.
I use a HID light, for vegging its a 250W MH & for flower I have a 250W HPS bulb. In week 3 - beggining of 4 I thought there was an N deficiency because I use distilled water which had no N. I added a very low dose of the nutes and from there they have seemed to flourish.
I'll update with new pics here during the week as the flowers develop.
pics #1 in both threads looks the same both male(same pic?)
the rest of your observations seem to to be on (couple more pics 2 be sure)
also the nute def seems to be mag/cal (might have already posted once to you?) you can use epson salt 1 teasp per gal water untill you can get some " cal/mag plus"
If you mean here & my grow log then yes the pictures will be basically in the same order but 2 days etween snaps. If you mean each of the posts you can see they are clearly different the first female has two small bud like growths growing directly on the stem and in the new ones actually shows pistils on the nodes of new shoots. The first of the males the growths are forming like bunchs of coconuts on a stem which will probably grow out to look like the string of pearl balls which develop into the male flowers.
Haven't had a reply from you before on my threads where you are probaly thinking about is I did reply in your own question about Co2.
The deficiency wasn't in cal/mag if you read the nutes FAQ:
http://boards.cannabis.com/grow-faqs...nutrients.html
The description of cal/mag defs are:
"CALCIUM (Ca)
Lack of calcium in the soil results in the soil becoming too acid. This leads to Mg or Fe deficiency or very slow stunted growth. Treat by foliar feeding with one teaspoon of dolomatic lime per quart of water until condition improves."
"MAGNESIUM (Mg)
Lower leaves yellow and may even turn white while veins remain dark green. Blades die and curl upward."
While the (N) def is:
"NITROGEN (N)
Pale plants, red stems, smaller growth. Rapid yellowing of lower leaves progressing up the plant. Add any chemical fertilizer containing N. Treated plants recover in about a week."
What was actually showing on the plants was a bit of drying out on the edges of the leaves and red stems. When you consider the distilled water nutrition info:
Calcium 26 mg/l
Magnesium 6 mg/l
with Nitrate as (NO3) 3 mg/l
However no Nitrogen as (N) what so ever. IMHO the assumption I made about the (N) was proved right in that once I added a low dose of nutes with (N) the plants took off.
Thanks for the comments though & hope this info helps in your own plant diagnosis.
