like everyone else has said just make sure its someone you know well and trust....and even better if you know where they live...then ur all set

You wouldnt go into a shop and pay for your shopping one day on the hope they'll give it to you the next would you? - Same with weed. Dont even show him the money untill the weed is with you.

to be honest its a fairly known thing here in denmark, there is a couple of 'contacts' that know every dealer and their selection in town, and then they charge you 20 kroners wich amounts to 2-3 dollars for the service, you do however pay him when he got the stuff for you and not before (except for the 'service' fee, it depends on the contact)
