you got it; the arrogance of this country is really frightening. we've made far too many enemies, and imposed our views and desires on too much of the world, heck, all of it. a little bit of humility and global-mindedness rather than endless ranting about why this is the "greatest country in the world" is what's needed. there is a lot about standard Canadian values and mindset that i admire. we need to learn that being militarily powerful does not equal divine right to rule the world; and if we don't learn it ourselves, i have no doubt that someone will teach us that we're not all powerful with a terrible act of violence
