Before I would smoke resin and half-burnt weed from my ashtray but now if I dont got weed I just stay sober. Resin tastes nasty and I feel like an addict smoking it. If I cant handle a day or two not high until I get a connection then I probably should just quit smoking all together.

If you had been a constant smoker (daily), some physical exercise and eating the minimum possible will make you mildly high (as when we burn fat, the THC solved in it is released).
And remember after a break your tolerance lowers, and when you smoke again you will be completly blazed out of your mind. The thought of this ultimate high must give you strenght to wait until you smoke again.
But, if you were completly desperated, as i become sometimes when i cant smoke, i eat one nutmeg. Its high is somewhat like the mj high, and enough for me forget the need to smoke. I know its not a very healthy thing, and thats why i only do it when i am really desperated.
