Its just about that time again
I started out with big expectations this year but as the season draws closer the scale of my grow gets smaller and smaller due to time restraints. I'll probably be doing about 20 plants of various strains over the year. The only two I know is skunk#1 and purple power plant, other than that just really good seeds from some really good bud. Just a little tip that I'm sure you all already know is to put some black plastic over your grow area, It will help to bring the ground temp. up so can work your soil and plant your crop a little sooner. Depending on your area you may want to remove the plastic after a while so when the sun is blazin' you don't cook your roots and shit. It also helps to kill shit in the soil and keep weeds down early. Best of luck this year every body, goddess knows I'll need it.:greenthumb:

Just wondering - have you tried Neem or any other type of repellent to help keep the grasshoppers in check? I am familiar with the abundent and agressive grasshoppers in TX. We used to walk through the weeds there and grab them up for bass bait.
good luck this yr

im not sure if neem oil would repel the grasshopers. when i went to the hydro store the guy working said i couldnt really do anything about the grasshoppers, just kill them as i see them. But i do plan on using neemoil to keep other critters in check, ill also be getting some lady bugs for the extra security. Are you in texas unclebob?

Hi,
Best of luck keeping those hoppers under control. No I am not in TX. A few years back a friend had a ranch down in Medina county about 3-4 hrs south of Dallas. I spent a few vaca's down there. Great area. I am in the Southeast now. Without being too specific, I am in central eastern AL.
good luck

still in the dreaming stages here in New England. I hope to have clones and/or seedlings to put in the ground around June 1 and about six weeks after that. Plenty of seed, not enough secure spots.
