lol. FACT! Crinoline was originally a stiff fabric with a weft of horse-hair and a warp of cotton or linen thread. The fabric first appeared around 1830, but by 1850 the word had come to mean a stiffened petticoat or rigid skirt-shaped structure of steel designed to support the skirts of a woman’s dress into the required shape. In form and function it is very similar to the earlier farthingale.
and yea! that sounds like a good idea. It wont look as nice and you wont be able to see the plants as well through the screen? But it will let much more air through.Quote:

cool! really wanna find some 1 who wants to do this now! be great to watch! :D
Humidity may be a problem, add a layer of window screen between glass and plant (for airflow) like an inch (lower than glass) away.
Good poing 4x5. I could always install a chicken-wire type screen right below the glass.
Yeh the chicken wire or inch square mesh then the glass 2 inch above with exaust or inlet fan keeping the airflow moving. If the theory could be tweeked i would put it in practice i got a plant just showing female pre flowers i would just have to find the material but would need to be convinced it could be done.be safe the postman.
any1 at the right time and also has the ingenuity to give this a go 1st? :)
After my current grow...i might give that a shot. i think it will work out pretty well.
