The curly one is a 'frizzle'. Frizzling is just a type of feather mutation and can affect a couple different breeds, including the Polish that you have.
A Japanese rooster has the most erect tail of any breed. It stands not just vertical, but actually points back OVER the back of the chicken. They are really handsome little fellas- not freaks like the Polish- but unusually cute.
My uncle raised Japanese chickens about 25 years ago... the chickens laid blue and purple eggs,,,we didn't have to die them for Easter,,,LOLzzz...
