My opinion, no it's not enough. I use 3 banks of 2 40W tubes each for a total of 240W and it's only good enough to root clones and maybe a couple weeks beyond before penetration is all but totally nil. And 24" of bulb won't be long enough to handle that many in on such a skinny line so if you MUST go with those lights get 6-8 or one for each plant. Or save some money and buy the standard shop-light kits. They run about 12 bucks for each bank of two 24" tubes (be sure to get the 'pig tails' as they're usually sold separately). You'll still need at least four but should be cheaper than that new flouro bulb that has yet to be tested for cannabis grows. And you're probably looking for sure-fire success the 1st time out!Quote:

I'll be purchasing a 250watt HPS/MH fixture, and 1 of each bulb.
Also got some organic soil for when it comes time to repot.. hopefully it will dilute the nutes in the fert for a more healthy seedling?
Unless you are buying a "switchable ballast" be sure you get a conversion bulb along with the standard one made for whichever ballast you choose. Most go with the HPS ballast and use MH conversion bulbs for veg and standard HPS for flower.
Yep, this was what I was planning on doing.. getting the conversion MH from insidesun.com
Okay I got 2 seedlings going under a 23watt flouro at night to make the lightcycle 18/6.. ill see if that helps speed up growth at all. but other then that they seem healthy. Here are some pictures.

PS. How long til my rigid leaves should start to get bigger, right now they're just kind of hanging out all small like.
You need to find the focus button on your camera.....all I see is blurry colored spots. :(
Cool cab!
How do you post your pictures SO BIG like that? :D

Yeah I think it's because my camera uses AA's and the batteries have been low for quite some time.. Usually my close ups arn't too bad, i'm just too lazy to find some AA's i'm willing to sacrafice... :cool:Quote:

RE-EDIT: Guess not.. still blurry as fuck. I'll try to get that fixed for my next post though. And yes I am using the half-push focus method.
