So today is Day 1 of flowering...
She gets the prime center spot under a 400w HPS, with three supplimental CFL's. There are another five CFL's in the room, which BTW is approx. 5ft. x 5ft., with a sloping ceiling that is 5ft. at it's highest. Because of the sloped ceiling, I left the reflector on, but bent the back to help fill light into the back corner. It seems pretty even. I have my fan blasting right now, as I'm just trying to be super careful getting a feel for the heat.
There are currently 8 plants, of which three are confirmed female...Hardonna is still unknown...
No added nutes today, just bottled water with Superthrive.
Thought this was sort of cool...I wanted to put together a series of grow pics for comparing growth with my next crop. Here's Hardonna's weekly pics through her complete 46 day veg stage:
BTW, Harddon, if you read this: would you mind recommending a nute and nute schedule? I have the 10-2-1 bat guano, 5-1-1 fish emulsion, 1-7-6 cactus juice, a 2-2-2 toxic looking liquid fert bottle, and a Miracle Grow 15-30-15 all purpose variety I'm reading I should toss in the tomato patch...and, of course, my vehicle is gassed and ready to go back to the garden center...
Any help would be much appreciated...
That sequence shot is very cool. Got my fingers crossed for hardonna. I can't wait to see these buds develop :)
Hey, Mono...hopefully you'll meet her in about 59 days, bro.
FUck there should be a sticky on the importance and benefits of tying and tucking fan leaves for Indica strains.
And Hardonna would be a great plant to show what you can do instead of chopping the top off jsut to get more bud :)
Great great job on her.
Of course lets hope its a her.
I am concerned about your roots. How long have they been in the same pot? I like to transplant prior to flower.
Dont use the miracle grow, but before you nute her, what about the roots........
Looks like the same container she was born in?????
You will need to transplant if so.......
Let me know.
Went from 3 gallon to 5 gallon container (added same Pro Mix, with marble at the bottom for drainage). Roots were pretty bound, but not too crazy...it didn't feel necessary to score the roots. Watered with bottled water and 1 1/2 drops Superthrive to 2 liters water.
nice plants man :)
Now with the freshly added PRO MIX, there is no need to nute at this time :)
PRO MIX is chock full of goodies for her for the next 2 weeks.
Lookin at her roots, it was indeed time. Some real problems could have come in flower as her roots will still grow for a tad.......looks like we're a tad late on it but she'll be fine now.
Make sure after the transplant she got a good solid watering...so much so that you can probably skip the next one. Tuff to overwater right during transplant....
