I think i might get 2 x 125w bulbs without reflectors and just cables. See how those do and maybe get a third if necessary.

It is silly, like the 68w on ebay are like £18 per bulb. In the us a 42w is $9.99 which is like 6 pounds ! And thats expensive over there....

Cheers for all the info jay, much appreciated but like ya said im swaying towards the 125s. How long are they ? I wouldn't want then to be shorter than my 250 :wtf: I think they are just skinnier but im sure u will know for sure.
Put me gyal into stress ripen :D water was nice and chilly at 2 C.....she was shivering.... Took a couple mental photos of what the trichs looked like on certain parts on her...hoepfully i can remember by sunday though..

Lookin good... curious to see your stress results. I am going to stress ripen one of my plants and compare it to the same strain thats not. That should be in about 2 1/2 weeks

The length can vary slightly depending on manufacturer, but they are about the same length as the 250's with a smaller circumference. The 125w 6500k veg bulb I bought was a different make and about an inch longer than my other 125w 6500k bulb, it was also 8400 lumens instead of 5000. So it is worth shopping around and checking the specs.

I havent done it before but the plants really smelt during the dark period !

Cheers busy. shock ripen was making em smell a lot but i think it will have worked out well :rastasmoke: I will try to take clones its just that its more costs and the fact i have never done it before but i might give it a go.
Yesterday i harvested, one day early. Got a nice big pile of bud considerably more than of my first grow considering i had 5 plants then and one this time. Smells real potent and i smoked some yesterday (dried in the mircowave) still had the harshness of the chlorophyll in the bud but it had a really deep taste and smelt like nothing i have ever smelt before, smelt really fragrant like flower fragrant - was quite odd ! Ill have a proper smoke report soon after its dried and cured as well as a dry weight. Got a couple pics of when i was harvesting....
