This is a little off topic, but i have always wondered why nations spend so little money on space travel. After all, there's plenty of room up there if we can't live peacefully on earth.

I'm Canadian, so I'm impartial, but I have to call out whatever ignorant dumbass claimed that America liberated the Netherlands in WWII...
CANADA liberated the Netherlands in WWII, in early 1945.
Also, Germany invaded Britain in 1940 with Operation Sea Lion, where their Luftwafte (air force) tried to break the Royal Air Force, and they bombed the shit out of London and other cities in southern England...and guess what? They couldn't do it. The Royal Air Force sent them home packing. America arrives in the war in fucking DECEMBER OF 1941 (only after they get bombed), and most of their work is done in the Pacific. Explain to me how England was "saved" by America in WWII.
What the US took back the beach and then went home, get out of here with that.
