Welcome back to TGF TV!

Just two days elapsed this time. We had to come back to do some work. There is at least one plant to harvest, new seedlings to check on, LSTâ??d plants to evaluate and adjust, and some BIG NEWS in the main flowering room! Weâ??ve got a good hundred pics for ya today. Bring your joint papers. ;)

Weâ??ll start off with the Cab of Luscious Flowersâ?¦

In here, we have three Y-shaped plants (6, 11, 11) on their 10th day of flowering. They are just now starting to show sex. They have pistils sticking out all pretty and so forthâ?¦:D

These two ladies have been in here more than nine weeks (Well, in the Bodom most of the time, then here).

Onto the DRY BOX. These have been drying close to a week. Time to pull em down, weigh them, and jar them for curing.

DRY BOXâ?¦that is number 12b hanging in there. Those baggies are drying leaf material for hash making.

Got JARSâ?¦! I donâ??t know if weâ??ll end up with the right number of jars to coincide with the plants we started with, but whateverâ?¦there it isâ?¦cannabis.

I donâ??t know exactly how much is in all of those jars combinedâ?¦

There are still 2 more plants to go, each giving about 5g or soâ?¦

10 or so plants times 5gâ?¦Iâ??d say ballpark close to 2 ounces. Not quite, but close.

Some of the herb still has a chemical smell to it. :( Some is getting better. :D:D

Time to pay our regular visit to our mother. Hi, mom. Howâ??s the new apartment? A little hot? Ok, Weâ??ll move ya down a little.

So she seemed to be too close to the lights. We had room to move her down, so we did that. Also, did some routine pruning of unhealthy leaves.

Those big plants we LSTâ??d last time (two days ago) are doing better. Starting to curl up and grab at that light. The insides are starting to bush up a bit tooâ?¦LST rocks, guys. It rocks. Splifted's not the only one who can do it. hehehe :weedpoke:

NL & BG update.

They are nowâ?¦errrâ?¦9 days from germination. They popped in 2-3 days, I believe, shot straight up in 4 more days, then for the last 2 days, they have had some light.

I still do not like how long their stalks are starting. Normally, Iâ??d tell a soil grower that they should probably bury that plant into some more dirt up close to those first leaves, but this is not dirt, therefore, we must figure out a better wayâ?¦

ROCKWOOL: Burying your stretched seedling stem.

This is just an idea that â??sproutedâ?? from the necessity to reduce the stretching in the seedling. Last run, the original plants (those from seed) stretched so much in their early life, that they became unmanageable. We swore this would not happen here, but it has already begun to plague us.

Our remedyâ?¦emergency rockwool surgeryâ?¦get your notebook out.

Normally, we would go from 1.5â?� x 1.5â?� cubes to 4â?� x 4â?� cubes. The way we do this, is to simply set the smaller cube into the larger cube, as the larger cube has the top bored out of it.

We will adjust the placement of the HOLE. Cut the hole out. Wet everything as normal. Slice a slit into the coreâ?¦like a hotdog bun. Clip core onto stem on top of original rockwool cubeâ?¦likeâ?¦ummâ?¦a fishing weight??

Main Flowering Room Week 9 DISASTER!

DAY 142/65/57/10

This is DAY 57 of the flowering in the main flowering room.

We have a DISASTER on our hands!

Hermie noticed (#13). We have a seed already! Sh*t! Bananas all over. Trichomes still bright white. This we think is a sativaâ?¦but hermie!?!? Son of a bitch. :(

WE had planned to let it go at least another week or TWO. But now??

Others in the main flowering room look alright. I think #9 is ready. At least the top of it. Not bottom. Others are close.

This one that has the bananas, it is the one that had severe nute deficiencies early on (stress)â?¦oh and then I snapped the bitch in half (ummâ?¦stress) and then taped her back together. I believeâ?¦the hermie culprit wasâ?¦uhâ?¦STRESS. Damn.

Whatâ??s worse, there is already a seedâ?¦only one that we see right nowâ?¦but how did we not notice this before?

I am hoping that it is too late into flowering to affect or to allow for seed development. :praying:

No, that 5g per plant is not a good representative of possible yield. If all goes well, the three plants that are in the Cab of Life now should yield close to an ounce per. Hopefully. We'll see. Maybe not number 6, but we're counting on the 11s. Thanks.

Happy new year to you as well! I quit smoking cigs sometime in November (I think) because I was broke for a few days. I figured I should go with it and now it's been, well it's been however long it's been. I sincerely wish you the best on that resolution and it is the one you should try and stick to most (in my opinion anyway). :cool:

Oh yeah one more question, what are bananas? You mention them when you talk about the hermie. :( I think I see what you are talking about in the photo (the thing that looks neither like bud nor seed, line through the middle of it lengthwise) but I haven't heard about them before. Regarding the hermie pics, yes, if you go to post #673 (on page 27) and look at picture #3, you will see the male â??bananaâ?? flowers to the left of the seed. They look like a bunch of bananas, even more so if you spread them apart. These apparently grow on hermaphrodite plants. They are different from the male pollen sacks that grow on male plants and look like little footballs on sticks. Either way, they spread pollenâ?¦and that sucks. BEWARE OF BANANAS. Keep your eyes out throughout the flowering stage for signs of these. Obviously, someoneâ??s eyes were not peeled and that part was neglected. :(

Fog, welcome back! :D Glad you had a nice vacation.

170 pics from one day, holy fuck Batman! That's awesome. Holiday's over man you better get crackin' with those pics! ;)

Those things do look just like bananas, I went back and had a look after KP explained it. Lucy's stretchy so I have to keep an eye out for bananas in case she's not just stretching for light.

Anyway take some time to settle back in and don't hurry too much to update this thread. I really should go back and read the last 10 pages properly instead of just skimming and looking at photos. Maybe today.
