1. Do you veg and flower in the same beds?
2. Are the plants separated in the beds youâ??ve constructed?
3. If not, how would you manage a different feeding regimen for individual plants if theyâ??re accentually in the same huge container?
4. How do you space your plants?
5. Are the strains separated and do they require different nutrient levels or do you choose strains that require similar needs to one another?
6. What fertilizers works best with the type of set up you have?
7. What is your favorite fertilizer?
8. Iâ??m a fan of Earth Juice what are your thoughts?
9. When you decided on the scale of the growroom you were going to construct and the fact that individual attention to the detail of each plant would be very difficult â?¦which strains were on your list of possibilities? Which werenâ??t even options besides the obvious sativas that take too long to flower?
10. This may be a very stupid question but I have to ask. If one was to obtain a permit or a license to grow as you have done, are there small business loans assessable through banks for medical marijuana grower?
11. Iâ??m still trying to figure out if your set up just does 4 possibly 5 crops a year or is there a second stage room somewhere? How does it work... you clone in separate room, transplant into the large beds under the HIDâ??s, let veg for a week or two and then flowerâ?¦repeat cycle? Please donâ??t get me wrong the amount of work involved in the trimming alone is enough to make a sane man crazy certainly 4-5 crops is plenty.
12. With an operation of that stature Iâ??m dieing to knowâ?¦ why not hydro (not to sound lazy)? -
MD: been a krazy week so far; lots of dirt to be hauled & turned :)
1-do I veg and flower in same beds, yes!
2-are the plants seperated in the beds? again yup! I got sum photo's somewhere of me loadin' up the beds, problem about 95% of my pix have my ugly face in them :P
3-each plant eats the same food, every strain gets same.
4-spacing of plants, well the beds are 4 ft wide, and I usually put 5 in a row\
5-seperating of strains - yes! usually a entire bed is dedicated to a specific strain, if not I simply take a sheetrock screw for example, screw it down on each side of the bed, and run sum chord between the 2, this acts as a seperator for flavors.
6-what fertz? that can always change as the nute level in the soil is never 'exact' from batch-batch, sometimes I need a microblast of N or whatever. but the flavors I like to use consistant are Earth Juice, just let it sit 24 hrs ahead of time to lower its natural acidic levels.
7-favorite fertz Earth Juice is a favorite, and anything after that any fert is for whatever might be needed at that time
8-my thoughts of EJ.. it r0x! just let it sit 24 hrs to lower its acidity
9-strains, well true trainwreck comes off in 43-45 days of 12/12, snowbud, salmon creek, GP#4, and a haze variant I have, are 60 days, anything past that isnt really worth the time to grow IMO.
10-loans.. haha thats not as stupid as you think, I have thought the same thing only I want to start a cannabis center or gro store.
11-cloning is done in a diff room where mothers are located, along with clone beds each having 80w of flo racks (there is a post of them somewhere I think in this thread) and 4 crops a yr is to be expected, as you clone & root out of the main room, transplant, veg for about 21 days, then flip to 12/12
12-why not hydro? mainly cuz im a snob and dont really like the taste of hydro, ive grown with regular DTW hydro, and even bought a coliseum (300 plant) a few yrs ago, if requested I can prob find my coliseum pix.
Just LovingIt420: yup! garberville, So. Hum! where the weeds gro big, and the nugs even bigger :) story about that sign, if u enlarge the picture you can see the humboldt county sign on the bridge on a steel pole, years ago it was 'up the road' a bit, where that solar panel is located (viewable in the pic) was all wasted 1 early morning, went thru my entire tool kit trying to get that thing down, shortly after it got moved to the bridge... go figure
If I was a little brief in some of those, just re-ask I'll try to keep more beer up here so I can get into the 'typing' mood!
Peace

you sir , are ontop of your game, props :)
ya about once a month to refuel, on the 12/12 cycle more often when veg'n.
what started me gro'n 'a few' plants? not sure.. just had the idea a friend had sum property out in the sticks, acquired that and slowly started humping in building supplies, about 6-8 mos later it was done.
only thing i didnt do was the mason work for the foundation or flatten out the land with the tractor, but thats what stoney neighbors/friends are for!
seems like everybody up here has a brother/friend who owns a tractor and does 'road work' heh.
cured budshots mabe? thanks.
I'd like to see a couple of pictures of all your plants upside down during the drying process...would be dreamy :)
