I'm affraid mine would never be mature enough to start flowering at two weeks, to be honest starting this lot at five weeks is the earliest I have ever started flowering.
Hello Dave :). Hmmm the rust problem:(. It seems to me that there is something wrong with the compost heap, so when the weather becomes drier, I'll have to see about getting it cleared and starting a new one.
It's a shame really I've had that heap there for quite a few years and never had any problems before ................ Ah well never mind :o
Hello busteruk :). I like to just keep the growing very simple, I really have no intrest in anything technical or complicated.
Also I don't like to interfere with then too much, I'm quite happy just to go in there now and again and just sprinkle a bit of water on them. It's just when I get any problems, then I start thinking "it's just too much hassel":o .
Hello Rekap :).Oh dear "moving", I absolutely hate moving. I did so much moving houses when I was married .................... but that really is a different story, makes me "shudder" to even think about it :o.
Anyway Rekap, I hope you're moving somewhere nice, with plenty of room for a new growroom ;).
Anyway the plants will be six weeks old tomorrow and there on the fourth day of flowering. I didn't go into the growroom yesterday, I was busy doing little jobs around the house. However I took a pic this morning although nothing has changed yet.
There is some activity on the flowering front, I spotted a few potental males and also a few females but not sure yet what the final score will be ????
love mand xxx :)
Looking good Mand! :)
Sorry I'm always forgetting that you start counting the days growing from seed. I have the luxury to grow from clone, so it's not quite accurate. Next grow I'm starting are 9 Jock Horror in Scrogg from seed. I'll have too see howlong it takes untill I find them large enough for flowering.Quote:

Hello turtle :). Well I've been looking at you're new grow thread love and what can I say ............... blimey, you've really gone well over my head, I'm totally lost :o.
Although having said that, I must say it's so really good to someone who enjoy's all the technical side of growing.
Keep up the good work Turtle love and I'll try and follow what you're doing in my own way :).
Hello britewire :), Ah yes "cloning". I've never tried it with cannabis plants but I have done with house plants in the past.
What I really like about it, is that you know what you're getting, the quality of the mother plant and females:).
Once again britewire, you're doing a very impressive grow, lovely looking plants ;).
I'll just add a little update on the grow ............................ Well just before the light went out this evening I went in the growroom and had a pretty good check over them.
Anyway out of the nine plants, one is definetely male, six are showing female pitsels and two others including the runt are not showing anything yet.
One thing I am quite pleased about is that the one male is my least favourite plant, there is something about it it that doesn't quite match up to the others.
At the end of the day if I end up with six females out of nine plants, then I'll be happy with that :)

If you want some help or info bout making clones just ask.
Well Mand, you've definitely done well for yourself with this grow so far. :)
Six females isn't bad, and you could potentially have two others. I'm still hoping the runt turns out a female so it can out yield it's sisters.
Although, if it's a male it wouldn't be all bad -- you could preserve it's short stature phenotype by selectively pollinating a small bud on one of the equally dwarfed females, or one exhibiting high yield. You'd have better chances at scoring plants with short genetics for the next grow in that event.
Anyway. Keep up the good work and don't stop doing what you're doing. :D
Hello britewire :) , If ever I clone I'll be sure to ask ;) ...................... Thanks :) .
Hello Kush :) Hmmm I just called on to do an update on the flowering situation. To be honest there aren't enough hours in the day just lately, so I haven't had much time for the plants, just a quick check once a day.
Well in the last post I said there were six females, anyway one of those with female preflowers devolped into a male. Also there was one other male as well.
So now in total there are I believe six females including the runt.
I've had to check and work this out, they are six weeks and four days old and one week and 4 days into flowering ........................ I think :o.

Busy life, eh? I know the feeling -- that there aren't enough hours in a day to find the time to do various other things, cannabis related and otherwise. I like to think that when I'm much older, and retired from any work, that I'll have the time to do these sort of things on an almost full time schedule.
So, it turned hermaphrodite on you, or the 'balls' you saw resembled female preflowers but as they filled out they became more recognizable? Whatever the case, I'm sorry. :(
At least you've got the others. And the runt; she'll do nicely. Still hoping to see her out yield the larger plants, though!
Keep on growing on, Mand. And Hay-Sues Bless.
