That may not be too far from the truth, never looked into but there are many "thoughtform entities" which thrive in the astral realm. Like Zues the Greek God acctually exists due to the faith put into his existence. As well as Gnomes, Dwarves, Fairies, Giants ect. no offense to you good sir, but i have just lost all/any respect i ever had for you. It is in my opinion that Scientology is a mockery of religion, and a money making scheme. I am not trying to flame, i am just posting my THOUGHTS on the subject.

look arguing about god's existence will never get anyone anywhere. You cannot prove or disprove god, and I think Dawkins is a moron for trying.
It is always and will forever be about faith. FAITH. either you believe in god or you don't. all the arguing in the world will never change that.

Ya'll need to educate yourselfs before talking about this kinda thing..God does not send you to hell..you send yourself by not living a god fearing life and not getting saved by the grace of god..God gave us temtations to resist not to say well he put it here for us to use..we all have freedom of choice..people wan't just say i don't believe in god they have to get all well if there was a god then he wouldn't allow suffering and all other horrible things to happen..Man (adam & eve) made the choice not to obey god and live in paradice..They had to have the forbiden fruit..

So we're being punished for what our forefathers did? Doesn't seem too fair. Being given temptations without being given any real knowledge at all, and then being punished for giving into those temptations is a pretty dirty trick too.

Richard Dawkins isn't trying to prove that god doesn't exist. He's saying there is no good evidence for the existence of a god or gods. There is no way to prove that an invisible deity doesn't exist.

Right. And faith = believing something to be true without good evidence. But I have to say that most of my atheist friends were raised religious, so arguing (and thinking) did help them at some point in their life.

They make me realize how many of my fellow Homo sapiens aren't capable of critical thinking when it comes to religion. In every other aspect of their lives, they are capable of reasoning, but not when it comes to religion.
Also, it's amazing how it's no big deal to be an atheist in Europe. Some people are believers (but don't push it on others), and the people who don't believe aren't looked upon as freaks. But here in the US, I'm a member of a 3 - 5% minority, and some people think I'm some kind of a devil worshiper for not believing in deities.

Remember, God (or by whatever name you call the force/energy responsible for all of creation) is beyond comprehension by our relatively small and puny intellects. In order to relate to such an incomprehensible/unimaginable energy we create personifications such as God(s), angels, ect. All these concepts, whether you realize it or not, are of one and the same.
By taking the personifications too far and personally we create human fallacies which are incompatible with logic and science.
I agree 100% there is a god. we might be able to see him. but if there isnt god how did we get here, is the bible all true no, but god does exist.
