I think there is a basic misunderstanding here: males do not produce seeds....females produce seeds after they have been pollenated by a male.

Maybe I was too wordy with the explanation. Doco said it short and sweet, the same thing myself and Invision are saying. Don't get all confrontational on my thread please, PassThat. We're just trying to clear up confusion in a peaceful way. Please reread my post about the difference. ;)
What you can do, is grow the male in a separate place, and harvest the pollen, then you can brush that pollen on only ONE of the branches and have a completely seedless female plant, except for the bud on the ONE branch you have pollinated. That is a good way to get seedless bud to smoke, but still produce seeds to grow from later.
Be mellow...like jello.
Peace, love, and pot. :rasta:

Anyone else with a vote on how many females/males will come out of my batch?? I'm gonna probably post the pics in a little. :D:D:D

Mmmm. Veggies. :)
I know that the male plant produces the pollen sacs that distribute pollen to pollinate the female plant and cause it to grow seeds. Since I threw out my males in my last grow, I didn't realize that they didn't have any seeds. Then I read a post on here suggesting to kill the males or keep them for seeds. By this comment, I thought he was implying that the male plant could pollinate itself and produce seeds as well, so I put a male to the side this time. You worded your post fine. It was me who failed to understand it. Sorry for distracting your grow. :(
An apology to Invision as well. This potent shit I picked up was making me paranoid :stoned:

Cloning action. This is my 2nd set of clones. The 1st ones did well, they took about a week and a half to root but their leaves died a little right before they sprouted roots. They ended up ok and in the BodomBox for flowering. This batch has done even better. Took about the same amount of time to root but the roots look stronger and healthier on more of them this time...and the leaves look better. Olivia's cloning gel and rockwool with a humidome and a flourescent tube light...Kicks ass! :) I am the cloning master!!!! Just kidding. It is really easy.

Ok, guys, the moment we've all been waiting for. I'll start with a picture of the bad news. This is PLANT #7. Luckily, PLANT #7 has been a runt the whole time! The clone I put into flower looks awesome, tho! But, alas it has nutsacks... :( It is a bad forcast for this sucker.
THIS IS A MALE. :sadcrying :sadcrying :sadcrying

Crap...this post was supposed to go ABOVE the last post. Oh well. Here is the BodomBox after 10 days of flowering. We are on ~DAY 79~ of the actual grow but on *DAY 10* of flowering the Test-clones. If you want to find that PLANT #7, it is on the tall f*cker in bottom left corner of the rubbermaid box.
Well, at least we know no one is wrong yet. It isn't 10/10 females. Lol. We have at least one male. I can't stay and post the rest of them right now. But I will come back and do more asap. I love that pic of #7. It seems clearer than any other male pic I've seen before. I was so excited to see a male, if you could believe that. haha.
The voting is still open!
Be cool.
