you can tell a plants gender just by germing seeds?
am i missing something?

I find it very interesting the size difference between the hydro and the soil plants...

post #118 shows like 50 seeds all germed, still confused ..

Thanks Skunky. Tell me is your first grow like , you know, your first love. Are all grows just as satisfying as the first. I can't believe how happy this had made me. Mj has been great for my insomnia and I get twice as many things done. I only wish I hadn't quit 25 years ago.

Good evening this is the 5 PM marijuana report. We have roots, ladies and gentlemen. Big bertha's first clones have rooted. Took 11 days.

Took 6 clones today. I have a total of 14 or so. I lost count. What I'm trying to do is restrict growth to the top bud. Have any of you guys ever grown artichokes? Well, the artichoke in the center is always the first and the largest. So I'm cutting off the side growth to encourage the top bud to be the largest. We'll see if this works.

Hydro plants are 3 days into flower. Soil plants are 19 days into flower.

WOW!! thats great!!! that should save you 2 weeks of germing are you sure they are female? i cant remember if i read that or not a few pages back.
And i just got a refill of MJ and i am back to normal. my babies are in 5th week of flower and have fuzzy hairs off the bud sites. hope 2 weeks and they will be done.
I have crappy seeds from a bag bud i cared for them hydroponically for a while, we have had some ups and downs, but i hope to get a bunch. they look really happy.. I should start a thread on my next grow. i want to make a cabnit and have a momma , and have a seperate flowering section . Ive been procrastinating gettin gall the goods to do so. I have a real supportive friend who has been enjoying my first gro with me. Im single and these have become a reason to wake up in the morning and rush home from work.
