Tragedy my friends. *sigh*
The plant that grew the best, and promised to have the best overall bud, Scarlet, had her top broken off.
I was trying to put her back under the screen, but her stem was so strong and thick, it decided to snap rather than bend.

After only an hour, the top is already wilting away...

I really wanted to keep all the budsites even, and then let them grow all together, however I don't think this will happen. I fear that if I tried to bend Camara over again, she would break as well. So, I tied her down for now, just to keep her slightly even with the rest. It's difficult to see, but I used a garbage bag tie.

...and here are the the girls all together.

I hope that Scarlet can put her energy into the rest of the bud sites, and that this doesnt stunt her growth too much.
In other news, the cuttings look ready for transplant. I see roots coming out the bottom of two of the cups... unfortunately I don't have pots for them yet, but I will soon.
dont worry about the top. its sucks but it will be fine it just happens once in a while if your bending tops. any time i do break one off i cut the end and throw it in my cloner.
That is actually what I was about to tell him to do maro69. I was wondering why he didn't...
They look really good though raiz.
TehNooblet:pimp:
yeah they loook real good! short and bushy! i like that little scrog setup u made, real simple and keeps the clean look going in the closet:thumbsup: i think your t5's a little crooked, that last picture makes it look so haha
Hey, it happens. I think that has happened to all growers at one time or another. In the past I've had stalks fold and break but I was able to stand em back up secured with a rolled matchbook tied shut with string (assuming the stem didn't break all the way off). You'd be surprised how well some plants can recover.
No offense but one bank overhead isn't ideal if you're going to use that kind of lighting. I'd set something up so they would also be getting light from the sides.Quote:

Nice and healthy looking plants otherwise
I find that by doing some LST early in veg, the shoots aren't so stiff by the time they hit the screen, and are easier to train :twocents:
Happy growing
