Thanks for all the compliments!
I wish I wasn't color blind. I can see that the PW's buds are darker then the Wonder W, but other then that the purple isn't something I can distinguish. A friend told me they must have invented a way to correct my naturally color blind eyes for the very reason of appreciating bud!
When I grew gorilla style outdoors I remember mapping out where every plant was in relationship to each other, which was a bad idea for many reasons. Then when walking to where there should have been a good sized Afganica looking lady I couldn't find it anywhere..but I could smell it. My friend who was helping me look yelled at me to stop right where I was until he got close, then he showed me it was the 7-8ft monster tree in front of me a few yards. It all looks the same to me as other vegetation. This plant took four people to connect hands and circle the plant. It didn't produce much tho being it didn't have as much direct sun as it needed. Its all about the gps now. I don't miss being paranoid deep in the woods either. I just wish I could see well.
Hey I just remember something I believe HS mentioned regarding leaf growth abnormally growing when stressed like the leaf pattern changes and goes non-typical, anyone see signs in my pics of that?
I had a friend take a look for some color marbling that I was worried about, and he mentioned the green and even the lighter green leaves of most of my plants are showing a reddish color marbling affect. From what I have read it is more of a Phosphorus overload sign.. any thoughts? I will upload some shots later tonight with that being a focus. I am not too worried but I tried a bud booster similar to Beastly blooms two feedings ago, and even though I used half of the recommendations I think I may have shocked them and threw the ph off (7) by using it. I did a simply flush with corrected water (distilled with Calmag) and used water with tigerbloom diluted a bit on the following feeding. I also topped the containers off with more soil hoping it will help buffer the ph as well.
If it doesn't turn around within a few days I will do a troubleshooting form but I am thinking I have it corrected. Its almost to the point where within a week or two it will be just plain water for these ladies so not too much time to correct anything that gets weird without flavor/yield suffering.
Oh and MB, I switched to D batteries! And while playing with the camera I put a regular battery in my charger....poof acid all over my counter! safety first people...
Here is some shots of the damage. I am talking about the colored edge of the leaves, it very well could be shock but not sure. Overall they seem fine and hopefully I stabilized things. Just trying to bring these down in the best condition possible.
Looks fine to me. I see what your talking about. Could just be that the plant is sucking something from the leaves its not getting in the soil. Which is fine as long as it doesnt progress too much. I really like the shape of your leaves. You have only a few burnt tips so I wouldnt think it was over nuting, and they are not yellowing really as it appears in the pics so I wouldnt really think it was a ph problem with nutlock or something. Start with your water and the run off water for ph. The flush was a good Idea. I think u should be fine. Kinda a nice looking hue haha.
Thanks EnhAanceD (EAD), I didn't really want to believe nute lock up cause that's what happened on my last indoor run and it still produced but it could have been way healthier.
When I went beginning from seed I transplanted before I was able to sex my last run and then shortly after that I was able to sex them. After killing the males I didn't want to throw out good medium so after pulling the root ball anything left in the pot I threw in a big container and mixed it with new soil and amendments figuring the soil was barely used a week since the transplant. I didn't think about the ph buffer that would have been washed out a bit and things fluctuated too much and I was to slow to react(even slow in soil terms)and I payed that price.
A friend told me the leaves no matter what they indicate looked like autumn blaze maple's in the fall. The ph can vary a little without my eyes being able to notice the affects on the plants but I figured using 4.7 gallon containers it would be slower to change compared to when I used 3 gallon ones. I need a better ph meter as well, this one is a 30 buck cheapo all in one meter so its not that accurate. I have less then two weeks of feedings left and not sure if I should dare use the bloom booster I have it is a bit high on N 10-50-0 for this stage of things so I may just keep to the Fox trio and calmag plus distilled. To think there is still about 3.5 weeks left of this run floors me! I can't wait to see how much that bigger PW cola is going to be. Its begging for me to taste!
Don't worry about loosing leaves, mine is loosing between 4-10 leaves a day, Big or small..Bottom first!
Take pics with AA battery of your biggest buds!!!
34 Days of flowering.
