I foilar spray during veg every feeding. You do have to watch spraying under hot lights though. The bulb can bust if it gets wet and the plants can burn if they get too close to the hot lamps. I often remove the plants from the grow lights and spray them all, look 'em all over good before I put them back under the lights.
To keep healthy plants in soil I think it's imortant to keep the pot sized to the plant. Small pot for young plants, then transplant into largert and larger pots as the roots fill each pot. (don't put seedlings into a 5 gallon pot) And use just enough water that the pot dries out in 2-3 days, don't overwater. If you water too little and it needs more a day later, that's ok but if you overwater and the soil stays wet for a week, two weeks, that's un-good.
My water ph is 7, my soil run off is 7. That's how it started and that's what it is at now. I do not adjust ph at this time. I will add more peat moss (and less dolomite lime) to my soil mix next batch. That's all.
I do not "flush" but I do give them a big drink of water a week or more before harvest and then let them dry out good. The herb is nice and mild tasting even before curing.

In 3.5 gallon pails that have been established (been in the pot for over two weeks) I'll use a quart of water per feeding. They take more in the middle of the veg/blom cycle (as much as 2 quarts) and less as the leaves drop off later in bloom. I like to see the plants go dry (need watering) every 2-3 days. This is just how I like to do it. Your results may be different.
My brother had the same plants, same soil, same light, just slightly cooler, yet a comfortable temperature yet he put his plants in 5 gallon pails and overwaterd to the point that they didn't need watering for weeks. This really effected his grow. The plants finished three weeks earlier and had a fraction of the yeild and the quality was off (due to the shorter grow = less trichomes). Water less quantity but more often.

I'm using a soil-less mix of perlite and vermiculite rather than soil in 2 1/2 and 3 quart containers. The plants, at 5 weeks into flower, are taking almost a quart of water every 3 days.
I probably won't add quite as much molasses as you do but I will start adding more. I use a large bamboo skewer as a stir stick when mixing nutes. I've been just dipping the stick about 1 1/2 inches into the molasses and stirring it into a gallon pitcher. Hard to say exactly how much molasses it is but certainly far less than the 1 to 2 TBS you mentioned.
