i sometimes wonder if we have free will, or is the entire universe a predictable system of sub-atomic particles perpetually playing out a "cause-effect" like reality that was initially set up at the very first moments of the birth of our universe. We could be just a product of our environment, completely just reacting to stimuli like meat robots. hahaa

Like if one tiny particle flew in a slightly different direction at the moment of the big bang.. we may not even have been here.

Speaking of wich, what was there before the big bang goddamit.. there had to be something.. . What does "nothing" feel like?

exactly.. nothing is something for sure... i dont really think we humans have a solid concept of "nothing." Im not sure if it even exists.. existence in itself is something so nothing would be non-existence, wich is something we lack understanding in.

i think existence is perpetual in nature meaning it really never starts or ends it just kind of sustains its own existence like a cycle or something. But the question is.. what started that cycle.. you need an initial action to get a reaction. even perpetual motion needs something to kick it into motion.

I think nature has placed its truths beyond any conscious efforts to understand it.

My bandmate, some friends, and I were all really baked one night, and we came up with this theory on deja vu.

They say that when you die, your life flashes before your eyes. What if it doesn't really "flash", but plays in real time. So as you die, all of your memories are erased, and you observe your life again, while everybody else moves on. Your life is essentially predetermined now (unless you're REALLY in your life), and you're viewing it for the 1st, 2nd, maybe 100th time but don't know it.

Every once and a while something happens and you have a strange feeling of familiarity. Not necessarily that you know what's about to happen, but that as it's happening it seems familiar. Well, ever watched a movie once, and then watched it again like 10 years later after you forgot everything about it, but you still recognize certain scenes? That's how deja vu works. Your brain is erased at the end of each "viewing", but there glitches sometimes that result in retaining memory of certain things.

It would certainly raise a lot of further questions, especially about religion and free will.

Maybe this one happesn more often than you would think --- I had the same idea around 6th grade.

About the same age, I also sometimes used to come out of a kind of daydream and I would wonder if my whole life was real, or if maybe I had just been created, and all my momories were "implanted." I though maybe nothing was real. And this was before there were any kind of movies with implanted memories or virtual realities.

Sometimes I was sort of a wierd kid.

have you ever been high and like you see some shit bout to happen and you call it out and you feel all good you peeped it out. just earlier tonight me and some friends where walking home in was just after it got dark. and we where passing these mexicans house and they have alot of children and it was these 3 little girls riding down the street on bikes and they went passed us the same direction we where walking and then they went up a hill and turned around and rode back down as they where speeding down the hill just approaching like within 20 feet and we see this little boy getting it in there direction (probally there little brother). and we all just saw it comming it was fucking brutal the girl swerved out the way and then the other girl hit him head on and fell face first. right before they hit we all where just like o shit and boom. we where thinking only some high people would peep some shit like that out before it happens.

i remember a while back me and a friend where sitting on a sewer on the bottom of the hill and these two little girls where riding a scooter down the hill i noticed the girl in the back was wobbling and i kept saying watch the girl in the back shes bout to fall omg shes bout fall and then splat fell right on her face. it kinda almost feels like you have special powers. i remember i kept telling people i was davind blaine after(jokingly) but anyways i hate when i post a fucking long ass post cuz it feels like noone reads it,

I read the whole thing, man, and you know what I think? I think you do have special powers. But your power is not to tell the future. Your power is to make things happen! So why would you make three girls run over their brother and another girl fall off a scooter splat on her face? You have to choose to use your powers for good, not evil.
