Very pretty.
them things got my mouth waterin, i'm with ya on wanting to see some of stinky's updated pics, hell over thanksgiving there wasn't a whole lot of new plant shots. Oh well seems like everyone is catching back up to their grows.
Hey, thanks for the love, guys. They aint perfect, but they's a growin'! Now I'm looking forward to the harvest pics! Looking forward to all the new trimming, weighing, drying, curing, and SMOKING! :bong: w00t!

I'm gonna wait for a few more posts on here to bump it onto page 21, then start the DAY 126 pics on a fresh page.

So f[r]og, what's in the pipeline? You got a little wish list going for the next batch when you have room for them?
I like to switch it up... I've been staggering the sprouts so I don't get for example 2 harvests in a row of a berry strain...
Ain't perfect -eh- perfection is bad luck IMO. If you're already THERE, then why bother to keep doing something? It's not fun anymore when you're not learning something. And your plants are looking hella tight. :D So's the new avatar. I totally love it.
Hey, Stinky. Pipeline...? Hmmm....well, that's a good question!
Let me look into my crystal ball...(spoooky music)
I see...harvesting...and...new cab building...scr..wait...I see...SCRoGing! Yes, more LST...and...Northern...gum...Lights...bubble...I can't quite make it out...
Guess we'll just have to wait and see. ;) hehe.
I envy your perpetuation, if you will. Weekly or bi-weekly harvests sound sweet. Your variety is also mouth watering.
Yea, you're right about the continual learning thing, always a good thing. I love learning new stuff. Kickass. Thanks for the kudos on the plants, and the avatar! That's me chasing my dog/cat after it's pissed on the rug. lol
I tried to give you rep points but it wouldn't let me give you any more. haha.
Be cool.

I kn ow, I keep trying to give rep to the same few people who I really respect and the thing keeps giving me that stupid message, damn it. It's the skull, I know it!Quote:

One more post and I go to page 21 then I can start posting the new PICS! :D I'm gonna go smoke a doobie (well a few puffs at least) then come back and hopefully start posting! I expect to post at least 40-80 pics on DAY 126/54/41!~!~! :D I like to give you guys/gals many angle shots so you can feel like you are in the closet with 'me'.

Can't wait to see them pics! Those buds look lovely!! :stoned:
Hey, Orangeman. Thanks for stopping by. :greenthumb:
Well, guys and gals, it's quiet on the boards at this moment, so I'm gonna take a moment to START this next update.
Here we go...
~DAY 126/54/41~
We harvest some homegrown bud today!! :D The plants have been flushed for about a week at this point. Maybe a little less than a week. We are looking at the trichome & hair color to determine when to chop them. We are considering chopping them all at once, but then again, we might chop them in order of ripeness.
Note: At this point, I went back to figure out the actual days past since flipping to 12/12. There seems to be a conflict in some of the notes. According to one note, today is DAY 58 of flower. According to the JOURNAL on here, today is DAY 54. Either way, it is about time to harvest.
NOW?
We start today again with the BloomBox, because it is the coolest at the time, IMO, and it is the farthest along in flowering. Oh, and did I mention we are HARVESTING today?
Here are some pictures of the BodomBox/BloomBox.
:rastasmoke:

FIVE pictures of the ??Three-headed monster?
For those of you who happened to miss how this came about, the plant was burnt by a CFL early on in the flowering phase and it ended up fixing itself and growing three tops instead of one! Someone coined it the 'FIB' method of cola multiplication?do not try this at home. :D
:rasta:
TGF
FIB = F*ck I Burned
More pics of the BloomBox (DAY 54)
Ready to chop some? Which do you think we will chop first? Any guesses? ;) lol
TGF
Be back after this joint message...
:baggy:
Harvest time. :greenthumb:
Let??s make a box. Holes in the sides, strings to hang buds from. Ok. This will be the first week dry box. The plants will be harvested, dried for approximately one week, then cured in glass jars for a couple of weeks before they will be smokeable.
Dry Box - pic #1
Ok, here goes the harvesting. Plant #1a. Decent looking. BUT, it has some kind of white mold on it. We originally thought it was spidermites, but I seriously think it is mold. It is not much and only on part of the top cola. The cola is much more ??dense? that anticipated, however.
Picture #4 shows the roots of the plant. They look to be rotted, which is not really surprising, due to the fact that there has literally been zero drainage the whole time. They have been hand watered daily with just enough water so as not to create too much of a pool of water under them and then hand drained when needed. Generally speaking, they have been mistreated with respect to drainage and root maintenance. But they are still producing bud. I??m sure the idea will be tweaked and improved for any future plans and that should be better still.
:weedpoke:
TGF
Congrats, your grow is looking great!
Large fan leaves have been removed.
Oooh?look at the top!
Fully trimmed close. All small leaves have been saved for hash.
Too tall to hang. Don??t want to cut. Isn??t she cute. Awww. :o
Accidentally snipped off a small bud while manicuring. Hmm?guess it goes towards science?hold on?:pipe:?Survey says:  Harsh, but definitely MJ. :stoned:
:rastasmoke:
TGF
Thanks, ridethefire! :pimp: Gotta take a break for now. Gonna come back and post the rest soon.
The suspense rises...
How many plants will we take out...? They're all not ready.
What will they look like?
Is there any more mold?
Whaaaat dooo they weigh??? lol
Feel free to leave any and all feedback. :D
And again, thank you to all of you who are giving me anonymous reputation points! Thanks! I'm flattered...
For all of you who are interested, I am currently smoking some very nice herbage...smells DELICIOUS...and very sticky. The joint goes out often and has to be relit. :D But even when I keep it lit, it burns VERY slowly. Maybe these are the 45 minute joints LIP is always talkin' about...? :o
Stay tuned...to TheGreenFOG TV! ;)

fog i'm glad to see things are rolling right along in fogland. I still have to wait a few weeks till I can taste my girls.
How far along are the mothers of little buggers?
Sup f[r]oggy?
Dense is GOOOD... but I think that little gal coulda gone a bit longer. She was still shooting out all those white pistils. Still I understand your rot concerns.
sorry, fog, but what did you use for the holes on the sides of the box and what type of string/rope is that. i love the box and will be harvesting my second crop in about a week or so and would LOVE to make a box just like that
Hey, homies and homegirls...:pimp:
~Cornelius~
Looking forward to a smoke report.
The mothers of these plants? Well, that's a little complicated. I'll try to explain it briefly.
In the beginning, 13 plants were grown. Clones were taken of each and sexed. These 'test-clones' are the ones in the Rubbermaid box. These are the ones being harvested now. These 'test-clones' were not really even supposed to be flowered, but after they showed sex, we decided to leave them in there to finish.
10 out of the 13 plants were female. 3, obviously were male. The three males were discarded along with any related clones.
Of the remaining 10 mothers:
5 were put into the main flowering room on the right side of the cabinet. I think they were 13, 9, 2, 1, and I cant think of the last one.
2 were vegged (#'s 10 & 5) until they were too big to fit into the veg room, then they were cloned, and the mothers discarded :( But we have clones of them.
1 plant, number 11, was not looking so well, so we topped her and threw away the mother plant. The top has grown into our only current living mother, #11a a.k.a Kermit. This is our Bonsai Mom.
That leaves 2 more...I have no idea what happened to them. I forget. I'm trying to think...
I think #6 was discarded cuz it was weak...not sure. Well, you can find the answers back in the JOURNAL somewhere I'm sure. :)
Therefore, we do not have any of the original mothers left. If we did, they would be 126 days old now. That is the first DAY # in all of these updates. The closest we have is #11a (Kermit) that is a top. I'd have to go back and check how old she is, but I'd have to say she's been around for a while. Getting unweildy too!
Wow, that was brief! haha
I just went back and re-read your question, and if you are talking about the ones in the main flowering room, those are on DAY 41 as of this update.
DAY 126/49/41 is how I label every update. VEG/Bloombox/Mainroom
~Stinky~
Yea, it says here they 'feel' dense...well, more dense than I would have expected from CFL's based on what I've read.
I was worried about that pistil thingy too and I thought it was a bit early, but the harvest was based on a couple things:
- They were getting rootrot...
- They were getting mold on at least one or two of them...
- They were really just experimental plants and not meant to be fully flowered...
- They told us what we wanted to know about rapid forceflowering after rooting clones and the effectiveness of CFLs in flowering...
- They were taking up precious space...
- We want some friggin bud! ;)
~chicago_white_guy~
Are you talking about the dry box?
Well, that is just a cardboard box. Cut big square holes in the north and south ends of them so that air can flow through. Use a utility knife/razor blade or something. Be careful. ;) Then poke small holes in the sides at your desired height (the ones you see are not at the exact height we wanted, but...meh) then feed some normal string (medium thickness) through the holes and out the other side holes. Tie a knot or tape down and you have clotheslines for your buds. Put the box in a dark, cool place with good ventilation and leave for anywhere between 4-7 days. Then cure. Ping!
Hope that helps.
Whew...that was one long a$$ post. Now I dont know if I'm going to have time to finish updating the damn harvest day pics. :( Well, I'll try. Thanks for all your comments and questions.
Now time to go smoke some icky.

Here are plants #??s 2a & 9a respectively.
Then a pic of them in the dry box with the rest.
And some close ups of the buds.
:rasta:
TGF
The rest are not ready yet. They will stay to simmer a little more. The 2 on the left are actually 8-11 days behind the other 3 big ones. They will have to be harvested in sequence. The small ones on the left are actually on the same DAY as the main flowering room.
:rastasmoke:
TGF
Now to many peoples?? favorite part??THE WEIGH IN.?
For documentation purposes only, here are the weights of the plants directly after harvesting.
9a = 26.2g
2a = 24.8g
6a = 28.6g
1a = 30.8g
Total of 4 = 110.4g
And into the dryer they go for one week.
:rastasmoke: RastafarI
TGF
Hope you all enjoyed the early harvest pics. These are the only plants that were semi-ready to harvest at the time. They were also pulled due to other various reasons that I mentioned a few posts up. The rest will be left in there for a week more or so depending on each plant??s individual ripeness.
Now there is still the business of checking the rest of the room! :D
We still have to take a look at the veg room and main flowering room on this day's update.
I don't have time to do it right now, but I'll try to come back and do it today if I can. Then we'll be ready to move onto the next day's update! :D :D
Hit me up.
Be cool.

Loved the harvest pics...my mouth's watering....Be dry soon, huh? I'm waiting patiently for the next episode of FogTV! S
Man fog, I love this grow. I've been sporadically checking back in on this over the course, you and your rubbermaids rule. Let us know the dry weights on all those too, I'm just curious how much exactly is water weight. Like usually how many times lighter is it after drying? Like 1/4th or 1/5th? Great job man, keep up the pics. Be sure to stop my my thread over the next few weeks, 3 weeks into flowering, so only 5-? more to go.

Also, thanks for tuning in. I'm glad someone's watching. I feel like no one is even 'viewing' this thread at all. Gosh! [/sarcasm] lol ;)
Well, I like the rubbermaid box too. It's my favorite...so far. It's done much better than I expected. BUT, alas...when it is finished, I have a feeling that it will be going the way of the dodo...maybe to be replaced by something even BETTER! (gasp!)
As far as weights go, I will have all the numbers for you so we can compare wet & dry weights once and for all! Gosh what would we all do if we didn't have such a detailed Journal? :p
I've been checkin' in at your thread too...but it's off the radar now. When you post some updates next, I'll come by, catch up, and send you a line. :D Looking forward to those updates!
~Stinky~
I thought you'd like that. :D
To all those keeping up with the JOURNAL, stay tuned for the rest of the harvest pics from the BodomBox and we're coming real close to the MAIN flowering room's harvest time too! More LSTing, cloning, and all that jazz...after these messages. :D:D:D
