It's my only source for new air...I've got a 6" in-line duct fan sucking air through about a 7' 6" duct..the duct within a couple days will be connected to a cool tube once it gets here..that will hopefully be my fool proof way of removing hot air from my closet. As for ventilation, that's all going to depend on your light mainly...as to how much heat will be dispersed into your space...I've got a 250HPS in a rather confined space..lots of heat. 85 degrees or so..absolutely nothing I can do about it right now my cool tube should fix that for me. Hopefully sometime soon you'll be able to get you a grow going...great hobby :thumbsup:

They are overferted. Why don't you have drainage holes?

have you had similar problems and solved it by doing so? and my next question will be...if I remove my string from around the stems where I bent them a bit to expose lower buds...will they grow back normal or stay like they are? cause I'm gonna have to cut those and take my ladies outside to pop some holes into the buckets and do this flushing bit...lol, I believe these buckets are four gallon but I'm not quite sure..so that would be like 12 gallons of water?

Cause I just haven't used them in previous grows...the thing that I'm most conscious about is water and nutes for these flowers...have been the past two times and never had over fert problem..they have had two feedings since I've added a bit more to their water and I will move to once a week feeding them...I had been stepping it up because I believed it was N def..and wanted to get rid of that before they go into flower.

Well to me burn could be due to a number of things. Overnute yes, incorrect ph causing lockout yes, light yes. The first pick does remind of N def but the irregular pattern on the others....I just don't know MA. I think asking KP is an excellent idea.

I agree with X-C that you can mix soil and water in cup and measure ph. Also you will be able to measure the ph of the water you are using before you water with it and adjust as necessary which will help keep your ph correct in the future. That is pretty much the end of my knowledge on soil and it isn't much. ;) I've tried to study soil methods but always seem to get caught up with words like.....ickies. :D

PS You probably already know this....don't use fish products to adjust ph....only the ph testers are ok. Apparently the ph adjusters for fish contain too many salts for plants. You can raise ph with baking soda and lower it with distilled white vinegar.

I actually didn't know that...and more than likely would've seen something at the store to buy along with the tester...but thanks to you I won't now...Yeah, when I was told about the test kit I could find easily..he mentioned something about baking soda and vinegar..just wasn't sure which did what..thanks for letting me know :thumbsup:

papery as in...just thin or what? and you guys kinda both confirmed what I was thinking, but I needed other opinions..Will move feeding back to once a week and will get to the store as soon as I can to get a PH kit..new growth seems to be doing great on them...the topped one is growing well and now going back I kinda wish I would've topped one more of them..but oh well, this will give me a good idea of what to expect from the next bb grow..:thumbsup:

i'm definitely wondering about the drainage... usually alot the excess salts and ickies tha Mrs GJ so ACCURATELY describes get drained out with the excess water through the drain holes. I'm wondering if all that stuff is sitting in the bottom of your pots....burning the older roots. Mrs GJ, you're kind of a sneaky little sharp one. ;)
