Yes, today was my first day of flowering. Complete darkness for 12 hours then 12 hours of light, on an automatic timer. In veg they were on 24 hours of light.Quote:

You've given into temptation then? Lol. I'm gonna watch your flowering, so I can see if there's much difference in growth times etc between our little ladies. Having said that, we finally realised ours aren't straight WW, ours are crossed with Big Bud, so I guess I can't really compare after all :( But still, I wanna see how it all goes regardless!! It's nice to watch the logs, a bit like a family album lol. Stay  and you'll soon be :stoned: :D
I am not tempted in the least, it does smell good and I am aware of it's effects but I am not a huge fan of smoking.
Day 37, Day 2 of flowering.
Here they are.

I am thinking about using nutes on next watering, not sure if I should since I know they don't really need them.
Doubt you need nutes. Make sure, in fact, you don't give them anything but pure water in the last 2-3 weeks before cultivation. This ensures the product is pure and without nutrient taste, if you weren't aware. :)
Your grow log is inspiring me. I'm gonna go over your details soon again. I need to get my pH balance set and humidity regulated here soon.
Oh, also, what water did you eventually go with? I was checking out the wal mart water earlier tonight. Looks good and cheap. My current water tests at around 7.2pH, and I don't like it.
Honestly, for the first month or so I was using bottled Poland Springs since it has a perfect pH. But then I started using normal tap water pH was about 7.2, so I bought a pH kit and brought it down to about 6-6.2 (same color that Poland Springs is under the test. Went with tap since it can't be that bad, hell, I drink it and it tastes fine. So to save money I went that route, plant's don't seem to mind it they are growing at the same rate as before.Quote:

Since I was running low on FFOF soil, I used alot more perlite than I needed to, it is like 75% perlite and 25% FFOF soil. So I do need to water more often but that's alright. I was watering too much before and leaves started to droop, now I water once every other day or so and they love it, all perky.
Most of the members on here call growing an art and takes skill and practice, I disagree for the simple fact that common sense plays a big part. As long as you simulate the same outdoor growing conditions, then I doubt anyone would run in to problems. now hydro and soiless on the other hand may require a little more technical know how, but for the most part is it common knowledge. Using soil, make sure you use the good stuff mixed with natural fertilizer and almost 100% chance you won't burn them, and you won't need to add anything else the entire grow such as mine.
Take for instance, this is my very first grow. That right there says alot, how could someone as inexperienced as me, come on here and make a kick ass grow? Research. Understanding what the plants needs are, and you most likely will not run in to any problems at all. Take proper precautions against insects, keeping humidity under control to prevent mold/fungus growth, and proper heat and airflow with lighting at optimal distances = no issues. Failure to abide by simple things like this usually result in much bigger problems. So ignorance plays a big part in plant care.
When i saw your plants at day 37 compaired to mine your plants are freaking huge!
Great job dude. Happy healthy plants Gratz:thumbsup:
