Um, I've never seen or heard of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Can someone let me know what's it about. The way everyone has talked about this movie, I might have to take a quick trip to the nearest Blockbuster.
^^Fear and loathing is a movie based on a book by journalist Hunter S. Tompson. It follows Tompson (Jhonny Depp calling himself Rauel Duke.) and his attorney Dr. Gonzo (Benicio Del Toro. One of his best performances IMO) as they head on a drug fueled journey to Las Vegas to cover the Mint 400 off road bike race.
You should relly check it out it's a crazy show that might be a little wierd the first time but just gets funnier and crazier every time you watch it.
Here's one of the best lines in the movie:
"We had two bags of grass, 75 pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocain, a multicolored universe of uppers, downers, screamers, laughers. also a quart of tequilla, a quart of rum, case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen emyls. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get locked into a serious drug collection, the tendency it to push it as far as you can."
I might not have gotten that quite right but it's close.
Also has anyone seen Gummo? that show is nuts. It's disturbing the first time and then gets funnier and funnier every time you watch it.
