whats up secret
i've been changing my cloner res every week. thats been working for me. i add just a small amount of bloom boost fert to the water now, and i also got a small aquarium heater to boost waters temp to about 68. to ensure humidity until the clones roots, i have the bottoms of 2 liter coke bottles to use as humidity domes. mist 2-4 times a day, (depending on if i work or not), and keep the bottles over them with a small gap to provide some airflow, while keeping most moisture in.
Just found this thread, and i have to say you are doing really great....
Good luck, and I will def. keep an eye on this log....
cman - thanks for stopping in and the kind words!
zebulon - glad you found my log, i look forward to seeing you back here again!
GG84 - always a pleasure. Thanks for the tips on the cloner. I knew the humidity had to be high, but I was definitely failing in that department. I put some temporary domes made of old gatorade botles on them tonight and misted them so hopefully that will hold them until i can put something better on. It actually looks like the tips were suffering from some heat stress, so I turned the exhaust fan on. Hopefully things will be ok.
The girl is growing like crazy. I have to raise the lights almost everyday. Tomorrow I have to rig something together re the screen/netting so that she wont grow into the lights while I'm gone. I am going to be very creative so I'll post some pics before I leave on Wed.
I'll be gone a total of 96 hours or so, I think she will be fine if I give her a huge watering before I leave. She'll prob be pretty thirsty when I get back but I imagine she will be ok.
Keep leaving comments and suggestions! I love checking this log all the time haha.
Peace all,

Got back early this morning from 4 days away and things are looking great. The big lady held out well under her fencing and the two top colas were tryin to get through when I took it off. Things are also starting to get very hairy, even some of the side colas. I'm thinking of tying down the two main ones so that everything will get similar light.
The clones are doing ok. I couldn't mist at all for 3 days and the one closest to the light definitely felt it; it has some burnt tips now which is unfortunate. The good news is that there appear to be some roots coming out of at least one of them, so that's a good thing. It took 7 days, but i did fuck around with the temps of the reservoir and box itself. I think things are ideal now, and that's why I'm getting better results.
I took some pics before I left and I am going to take some more pics after I change the water in the reservoir. I'll post them in a bit.
Hope everyone had a pleasent holiday.
Peace all,

Alright here are the first set of pics, as follows:
1) Room with "time away" fencing
2) Another fencing shot a little lower
3) Clones
4) Bottom tip of clone ... still no roots, although it seems like new growth on top (I'm going to look at the original clone pics to see)
5) Bottom part of clone. Should it be brown like that or still green?
More to come...
Here are the rest of the pics:
1) Side shot of big girl
2) Top shot
3) Close up of one top cola
4) Close up of other top cola
Let me know what you guys think. Is it normal to have such skinny top leaves on those colas, even in an indica strain?
Peace,

what up killa,
thanks for stopping by and the kind words! i just read through your CH9 Green Bud hempy grow log and DAMN that girl looks huge! Do you think the hempy buckets are what make them grow so damn fast? Awesome! Also your clones are gorgeous, I wouldn't change a thing if I were you.
Just wanted to note today is flowering day 18. I'll make sure to post that from now on.
Peace all,

So the bad news is that I think the clones are dying. All the tips are yellowing and dying, even on the "new" growth and there is still no evidence of rooting, and it's been 10 days. I will post some pictures in a minute, but is there anything anyone can suggest? The set-up is as follows:
Bubble cloner with 2.5 gal H20, 1 drop SuperThrive and 3ml ThriveAlive per gallon.
1 26-W CFL
79degrees in clone box
Humidity domes that probably don't get enough misting since I am not around much.
The "rooting" parts are basically brown at this point and there is no evidence of any roots coming out. Are these clones done for or are they saveable? I am 20 days into flower, how difficult is it to pull new clones?
GG84 are you out there? Or Bozo? I know you both have bubble cloners with huge success.
HELP!!
