When the kid is 18 he can decide for himself whether he wants his foreskin amputated. The parents have no business doing this mutilation to a baby or child, unless there is a medical necessity for it - which is very rare.
If the medical insurance companies stopped covering routine circumcisions the rate of this useless, destructive procedure will decline like a lead balloon.

I never knew that being uncut might be perceived as a problem to some, or even viewed as grotesque. No one's ever turned me away because I wasn't cut. I came from Rotterdam, and I was not cut. My parents weren't silly enough to believe in a tradition of removing ones foreskin :rolleyes: It is a silly tradition in my eyes too. It's penis skin, maybe we should talk about the fat horking pigs out there with their excess skin. :p
