i think youre wrong mate, yes it is addictive but u know its not one toke and youre on it for life exactly is it, thats just stupid, not even heroin or any drug is like that(although it does depend on personalitys, i know personally im fine)
and like has been said, the amount that you will get unless youre growing a couple of acres over in afghanistan or something is fuck all!! its not exactly a street drug either so even if you were that desperate to get some more itd be hard to find.

More addictive than crack? I make opium tea out of various plant parts on special occasions. It lasts about 6 hours and when it wears off I don't crave more or experience any withdrawals whatsoever. They say if you do opium more than 3 times a week you're an addict and I can see how the physical aspects of addiction would start to take hold at this point. One or two experiences, or many over long periods of time, isn't going to be enough to pull you in. Like someone has said already, the availability alone prohibits most of these problems from even starting.

You've got way more people abusing oxycodone than the defenseless little opium poppy.

I didn't even get enough for a buzz off of 6 plants
I did heroin once a few years ago and no addiction
I did liquid morphine over 10 years ago and hated it

Yup that's why I only do a few plants every season harmonic. You can bet if opium was available year round these people would be feinding for it all the time... And I didn't really mean It was MORE addictive then crack, but the stuff is pretty fucking addictive so I was just tellin' people to watch out... I guess it's wrong of me to worry about the well being of my fellow CANN.COM members. I'll try not to anymore :p

so, rastakaze i sent you an E-mail. im planning on try to germinate as many as i can from the 4500 i bought. all of them are THE SAME strain afghani speacial from izmr.

apparently they start germinating very quickly and like florescent lights;)

when do you reckon you should plant them in the uk?

i read that they flower in noverber here??

anyone know???

I'm planting mine in May, idk what time they flower at, but I know when to harvest them, when the petals fall off and the pod is unripe.:rasta: :thumbsup:

yes florescent lights are best for the indoor grow cuz they are cool and you can put them a few inches from your plants

If using fertilizer a 5-20-5 can be used prior to flowering but is not really needed.
