NO don't do it....it will be ok...there is no reason to stop now, if you have come this far....the plants look nice, and you can harvest some great weed soon...
In my eyes you are a good grower, who can grow some real dank weed.... Not everybody can do that...

I Don't like hydo too much either...i know you can get some real great weed, it takes less time and you can have big monsters...
but for me it's so unnatural....it takes away the most important thing for me...the earth, the birth place of many-many kinds of plants...
we dirt growers should stick together, against the more and more powerful dark side...

Well you guys know I love hydro so.....
Rock....here is what I see....without even trying it you've dissed hydro. This is the kind of thing that makes me want to bop you over the head. You've already decided it's not for you. just like the lighting etc etc.....nope, nien, not a chance. Guess I'm just too old these days to repeat myself until you hear it and I've been with you the whole time. Yes I said it was a hearty plant......but nowhere did you hear me say you should do ALL THOSE THINGS ON THE SAME PLANT. You got to that stage all by yourself and somehow you've gotten the idea that I TOLD YOU to do this. Sorry, I'm not taking the fall here.
If you went ONE grow...ONE....following directions carefully.....no adding, changing, improving etc.....you could grow a kick ass plant......I have absolutely no doubt. You have everything you need including an excellent knowledge base to work off of (c.dot) and feminized seeds to start.
My several thoughts with you and hydro are this.....there are all sorts of cool things you can test, study, check, adjust etc in a hydro setup which will keep you busy without "helping" your plants so much. Also the growth is much faster.....as you know....and I have a feeling that once you actually see a plant grow decently it will do more than anthing else to teach you to leave things alone. I quite honestly think you just don't know any different having never seen a good healthy plant grow. When I was trying (poorly) to grow my stuff outside I thought my 3 inch plants were the bomb.....yeah, the soil thing was slow but look at my three inch plants.....until I went to my friend's house and hers (exact same age) were a foot high. That gave ME a pretty rude awakening right there and I spent the rest of the summer jumping through hoops trying to fix things.
And this nature baloney.....ok fine....get out your horse, icebox, outhouse etc......return to nature.....have fun. ;) I happenn to think they invented things like air conditioning and penicillin for a darn good reason. ;)

If I may chime in here and suggest a DWC ( and perhaps a SCROG too). It gives the DIY person something to do, and it is a pretty easy introduction to hydro. I won't write a book on it but I will say that it can produce some crazy results while being simple enough to learn. Water, bubbles, nutrients, daily checking on the PH/PPM. That's about it.
OK, now I will shut up and stop pushing hydro on ya... :wtf:

And you know MVP.....you COULD check your ppms and ph every couple hours.....just to make sure it stays good.....never hurts in hydro......

cheer up homes, you're doing an amazing job there..
some people may disagree cause they think it's all about yield and growasfastaspossible, is that what your trying to achieve? If not, are you enjoying yourself, your time with your plants, and learning what to do and what not to do next time? I say who cares what others say, as long as you make an informed decision! :D
Don't feel disheartened - just because your plant is growing slow does NOT mean that you're plants are shit, did they turn out the way you wanted? Thats what's important and I thought it would be damn important to bring that up. They look healthy, they look excellent. Sure they are a tad short but that is not surprising as they were tied!
Peace,

so, i go to empty the drip pan so i can give this plant some water, and i see this thing dangling outta the bottom of the pot.
if this is supposed to mean something that i should know about, can someone translate from Blue Russian into simple-guy-english for me, please?
thanks.

That looks like a nice healthy root mass IMO. If it were hydro I would offer an opinion (looks good, don't do anything). But since it is in soil, not sure what to tell ya, other than it appears to be healthy.

pix update.
mid-week 6
she may be small, but is starting to look like she may be my best yet.
due to all the different stresses i subjected her to, i expect to wait about another 3-4 weeks before she comes down.
she's starting to yellow the lower leaf, normal IMO.
i am leaving her alone now, and watering when the moisture meter reads just under moist, looks like maybe each 3-4 days lately.
last one is a backside shot.
thats it for now.
