Huh, I question your definition of "dry". I picked up some Cough and Heavy Duty Fruity from D9 a couple days ago and it was the first and only time I've gotten WET buds from a dispensary! I wouldn't have posted about it in the D9 thread yesterday if it didn't happen!!
That shit would NOT burn well at all, especially the cough! It took about 10 hits to finish a bowl that always takes about 4. The first attempted hits basically I had to hold the lighter on the bowl for like 3-5 seconds, then the cherry immediately went out. After about 3-4 attempted hits it was finally dry enough to stay lit while pulling. However, it still didn't burn enough to get a milky bong rip. If you consider that dry, then I'd hate to see what you call wet. Wet buds don't have to be sopping or dripping. The Heavy Duty Fruity was a little drier, but not much.
Properly dried and cured buds should light up immediately and stay lit when you touch the lighter to the corner of the bowl.
Delta9 should know better and maybe it was an oversight. They are a good shop and the buds looked really great. Its really disappointing when you find out that the buds were barely dried and probably minimally cured if at all. I'm sure it was a vendor strain, but buds shouldn't be sold while they're still wet!! It shorts the patient and leaves them with inferior quality meds!
BTW, this reminds me of what C3 told me on my first visit. They said if I was unsatisfied with any medication I could come back, bring the rest of it, and exchange it for something that worked better. Do they still do this? That might make me actually start going there. I've gotten so many disappointing meds recently at several great dispensaries (CAM, CCF, D9, Grateful Meds, ReLeaf). It would be a huge selling point for me now to be able to exchange shitty meds because there's so many of them around. Seems like a lot of dispensaries are relying on random vendors to fill in the supply gaps which makes the meds less consistent for us.
So does anyone know of any dispensaries that will let you exchange or return meds if not happy?!

wow your joking right ? you come in here and talk about how there has been some crappy med's at some great dispensaries, such as cam, ccf, d9 and grateful med's? Those places mentioned are some of if not thee best places in colorado. I'm sorry you have gotten some wet nugs before but shit happens, not everything is perfect and I find it hard to believe you have gotten wet nugs from all these places, damp maybe but not wet as in u pinch it and it stays pinched down. Also keep in mind it would be be dam near impossible for these places to stay open with just the stuff that they grew themselfs, so yes of course some of it is vendor strains. And saying you got some cough and heavy duty fruity that was wet made me laugh my ass off. It just so happens i got the exact same strains, and while yes I could have gone in on a different day then you "well duh, most likely" it wouldn't have been any drier then urs and if so just bye a tiny bit, I think your standard of dry is bone dry because all you ever seem to do on these forums is bitch. I don't know about the rest the community but when i go to grind it up i don't want it to turn into dust and blow away. Besides your knowledge of marijuana on these forums has been flawed since you bought clones from a cop off of craigslist, so do me and all these awesome dispensaries a favor and cool your jets turbo and maybe find out what some real fire strains are. P.s. Enjoy your marijuana dust, while i'll puff down on my nicley cured buds :pimp:

Yep, that's right. Crappy meds can be found at some of the best dispensaries in Colorado. That was kinda my point. You can find crap grown by some clueless beginner sitting right next to dank grown by, perhaps, the World's Best Grower (and guy with awesome ancestral lineage), Dana May.;)

I didn't and I never said I did. I got CRAPPY meds at all of these places... damn follow the context dude... do you own a jump-to-conclusions-mat?! I only picked up the wet nugs at D9 recently.

Tomato... tomahto. If it's damp it's not dry is it? All it needs to be is a little damp for it to not burn very well...

I understand that. I just wish they'd use a little discretion when purchasing and not purchase from any/every one. Or at least do a thorough sampling of any buds they purchase beforehand. I understand there may be a shortage now too, so inconsistent nugs may be unavoidable in current scenarios.
Doesn't it suck buying buds and you don't know if the grower had any concerns for your health or anything? Maybe they used toxic pesticides long after they should've stopped, etc. You never know...
You'd think this legal framework would allow you to know your product better... where it came from, how it was grown... but that's not the case. Often times, I know less about the product and how it was grown than I did when purchasing from the black market.

That's why I made the post my man! Because I was kinda surprised how you specifically said they were "no wet uncured nugs for once" and mentioned the specific nugs that I just posted about being wet in the D9 thread. Look, there's no sense arguing this. I've smoked a lot of shit from a lot of places. This is some of the dampest bud I've come across yet. Do you like joints that stay lit? I do. How about bowls to stay lit as you draw... instead of going out on you as you draw? I like those too...
I noticed you said in your post that you got "no wet uncured nugs for once". Sorry that you've had so many run-ins with damp nugs... this is my first.

My standard is properly dried and cured nugs. I like joints that stay lit and bowls that don't go out when you're drawing the hit. I like to get dense, white "milk" in my tube... is that so wrong? I'm paying a fucking premium price for chrissakes... can't they spend another week so it fuckin' burns right? You already spent 3 months, what's another week?

You have me confused with someone else. I've never bought clones from a cop. Look, I like to give honest feedback for dispensaries... good or bad. Maybe I helped someone avoid a disappointment. I'm not going to "do these dispensaries a favor" and remain silent when they pull some bullshit. Sorry, that's not how I work.
I am grateful for these places, but hopefully I won't have to deal with them anymore soon.

Thank you. Likewise. Would you like to borrow my acetylene torch to get your buds lit?
PS - If anyone needs clones, D9 looks like the place to go! They had a good selection of great strains and they looked really healthy. I wish I would've gone here!

From experience I can tell that this argurement is going nowhere on forums lol, but I will ask this. . . where you forced to buy the med's at delta 9 ? and how didn't you not know it was wet untill you smoked some, i thought you knew your weed ? You coulda asked the guy to squeeze em for you, and see before you buy. -P.s. I think they had quite a few vendor strains over the weekend because they where running a little low on house strains. :rastasmoke:

It looks to me that Budderbear is part Delta 9.All owners need to really look at what they are buying and then selling to med patients that really trust them. There is no excuse for wet buds !!!!

I find that every one of this kids posts lacks any knowledge of any sort whatsoever. The one constant that I have learned from these boards is that this troll is a fucking retard. Dont get me wrong... Im all about bitching and putting people in their place but only when I am right... which happens to be all the time when compared to this child.

D9 is that you? Still upset about the grow store putting the kaibosh on your little hydro shop?
How many screen names do you and your employees have?

I love how people assume that because you have only a few posts, that your a troll, or that because you stick up for a company you automatically work for them.... Besides this isn't even up for discussion that fact of the matter is YOU bought wet bud,YOU and only YOU have YOURSELF to blame. NO-ONE forced YOU to buy the wet weed.
p.s. I stuck up for c3i,grateful meds, c.a.m., and other places you really are self centered if your first thought is that I work for delta9, on that note: I would love to work for delta9 or any one of these dispensaries I have mentioned. You ever think that maybe I like the people at d9 and what there doing there and how they run things ? Or is it to hard to grasp your head around the fact the some people actually run a good buisness?

Fuck ya im a fan of Delta9... As far as being a fanboy, I agree that star wars rocks. No, I dont work for Delta9 but i would if I could. I work for myself growing medicine because im not quite the idiot that you appear to be. I grow medicine all day instead of trolling the forums spouting nonsense everyday as you so excellently achieve on a daily basis. Are you like Topjazzman, working at gratefulmeds? To me you seem more like the proprietor of Little Brown House... Running the shop on the sweet fumes of methamphetimines, Cali-Mexican Mafia outdoors, and the wind passing out of your toothless grill. I could be wrong, considering im just basing my guess on the similarities between the quality of your posts and the quality of yours, I mean their, store.

Sorry to associate you with that other guy... I forgot for a second that I don't give a fuck when he provoked me.
Man, I like your shop... and that Cough was excellent. It was just a little damp... probably dry by now. Maybe I got a freak nug. Shit happens. That's cool that you'll try to resolve people's concerns with quality though. Should've just gone that route as some retards seem to take it personally when you criticize shops that they like...

I really like delta-9 and was excited to go up there again. The First time I was there I was really happy with the place but the prices were a bit high. I heard they dropped the prices a bit so I was happy to go back.
They do have a lot of really nice lookin clones and there employees are all nice guys.
I was up there on tuesday or wendsday or last week (2-2 or 2-3). I was pretty disappointed in the selection. They only had about 5-6 strains and most of the jars had lots of shake in them. I saw they had $300-350 ounces but when I asked about the $300oz I was told it was only shake.. I felt mislead
I ended up getting some "Kaya Kush" and "Maui"(I think its spelt). I was happy with the smoke so no complaints there but I wasnt all that happy with my experience over all.
I got the last of the Kaya so they had one less strain when I left. Im pretty sure their shortage had something to do with the "damp" smoke
I still like the place and plan to go back again. If I buy clones this is gunna be the place for sure

Ya I agree that Kaya was a little damp when i got my slice it was just a little to nice to pass up we were trying to dry it up and cure it a touch more (came from a vendor) but kids kept wanting it off the back shelf sorry about that brother. we try to have ounces in as much as we can but being a smaller operation its hard to produce quantity while keeping it firey we are totally working on having in house ounces of bruce banner and the like but it takes a little to start new locations but bear with us. usually tuesday wednesday and thursdays are our pull downs and big vendor days if you come in on monday tuesday or wednesay and ask for Billy ill roll a fat joint for you for the dampness

We always exchange or refund anytime anyone has an issue with our medicine, have you ever asked for a refund from us or voiced your concern?
I am disappointed you would post a complaint when you never tried to resolve it with us, or even bothered to check our policy on returns.

^Hey GM.
I kinda wasn't careful with my words and inadvertently slammed some of my favorite shops. The shops I mentioned are my faves.
I don't think I've ever gotten anything crappy at GM actually. What happens moreso is I'm too curious and I pick up 3-4 strains. Then I get home and 1 of them is WAY more effective for me. That's really my fault though! I wish I could restrain myself from trying everything and just stick with what looks/smells best!
Anyway, that's awesome to know. Do you guys still have that Sour D in that you mentioned on here?

Hey I just checked out Nedicate in Nederland, which is a few doors down from the Nepalese restaurant Katmandu, and these are some of the nicest folks running the place. They have the best Bubblegum I've ever tried!!!!! and a darn good Bubba Kush which was a great deal at $15 a gram, considering the taste and trichome (crystal) coverage on this nug would put it in the $18/gram range most anywhere else. They also carry one of my very favorite strains for $16/gram: the Cherry Lime Haze!
Here's their menu:

I recently went to Campus East MMJ on College St in Fort Collins and purchased 4 grams of Double Bubble Kush and paid $80 for 8 grams for immature ganja full of shake and partial buds. You couldn't even smoke the buds.
This store was disappointing in all aspects. I will never purchase anything from this dispensary again. I didn't get the feeling that this dispensary was here for me, the patient. It is sad to see the selfishness.
The guy who owns this dispensary is also the owner of the local music newspaper in Fort Collins called, The Scene Magazine. One would think a man will this type of business experience would have more compassion and more money to spend on creating an environment that is welcoming instead of feeling like you're walking down and narrow hallway to your cell.
What is really going on in this building? All I see is a small area for the dispensary and one would think there would be more going on and have more to offer for the patients than what is offered presently. Seems pretty sketchy to me. NO THANKS CAMPUS EAST.

if your in FTC you should hit up A20 labs, you'll get good stuff from Alex. I met with him about a month and a half ago and he showed me 4 quality strains, including the Coup de Grace which you should try now before he crosses it again.

Hey guys/gals, I just joined these forums finally and wanted to let you know about my reviews website: MMJ in Colorado
I've reviewed about 15 strains so far and 2 edibles, and much more is coming. It's only been going for about a month now, and we just moved to the official domain early this month.
Right now I have reviews from Botanico, Dr. Green Gene's, The Grasshopper (on Federal), Nature's Kiss Medicinal Lounge, and The Releaf Center. Multiple reviews recently for the Grasshopper, as I got a few sampler bags and ended up reviewing almost all of them. If you want something pretty heavy that tastes nice in the vape, go grab some of their Sugar Hashplant -- very stoney and long-lasting. I loved their Durban too, super fragrant and tasty... both of those were vendor strains actually... their in-house stuff is normally my favorite.
Anyway, I can't step to the photos that StrainMan and KindReviews have, but I take a ton (over 500 up now) and make them all available so you can judge for yourselves. I'm getting a much nicer camera very soon, so the wide shots especially will get a lot better... right now it's mostly a USB microscope. The site's PhotoBucket gallery is here and the pictures are separated by dispensary and for the most part, the strains are grouped together: Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket
I didn't want to just show up and advertise, I promise I'll be a contributor here haha... I'm very pleased to be a part of the CO MMJ scene and the review community. Props to StrainMan and Kindreviews. I'll do some quickie reviews here in this thread and might end up with my own thread later...
Let me know if you guys have any feedback about the site. My friend and I are handling everything and it's my first go, so be kind (no problem for this community)...

And yeah, the licensing thing is crazy... I don't think it's a very wise move to plan to continue operations without a license. I guess some owners plan to be test cases! Doesn't seem too smart when the DEA and various local authorities and politicians are trying to make big-man stands. I'll definitely be sad if some of my favorite shops end up closing (either for a while or permanenty), but they've had enough time to take care of these things... you know it was coming. I hate the taxation and arbitrary licensing restrictions aspect (especially when the general fund is padded with the registry money... still haven't gotten my red card 4 months later) as much as anyone, but it's inevitable and it's pretty shocking that more owners haven't gotten their stuff together to at least apply.
The ones that sent everything in aren't even guaranteed to be accepted, so the number is even less than the 60-something that had applied earlier this week. For the sake of patient access, I hope something gives.

MMJinColorado - Your comments are certainly appreciated. We've been working hard for a while now and feel like we've built our own niche in the review field. Everybody enjoys a little different information in a little different format and we are all about folks having their druthers. We are proud of what we are doing (and intend to do in the future) so we can't ask for much more than that.
As far as the licensing, it seems simple to us (and our General Counsel), the authorities are giving everyone some rope so be sure not to hang yourselves. We aren't affiliated with any dispensary at all, and we want them all to succeed, but barriers to entry have proven useful in almost every business field known to man and they typically serve to protect the end consumer. The lower the barrier to entry the higher risk of getting ripped off (just think of all the roofing contractors knocking on front doors after a hail storm as an example). We'd prefer Shangra La, but we'll take Colorado for now. :)

Just picked up a gram of Hong Kong... well, 0.8 anyway (grr.. I'll talk to them about it, but I hate pre-portioned bags for exactly that reason) from Native's Choice of Colorado. They said it won the patient's choice at the 2010 Caregiver's Cup. I looked around online looking for results from the event or more info on the strain's lineage and came up empty. Anyone got anything?
Tastes Diesely but they had it listed at 100% Indica (dude at the shop said that was a mistake and it's more like 80%). Definitely strong, I'm "doing the Timewarp again", as they say. I've wanted to get up and cook dinner for about an hour now but have just been futzing around doing nothing haha...
Props to the Incredibowl guys too -- I can't stop using that thing. Not sure if they have any more, but Denver Med Stop had them for $125 plus tax on Saturday, which is the best price I've seen in town by about $60. Just in case anyone wants one, they're on E. Colfax at Jasmine, phone is (303) 573-6337... worth a shot.

KindReviews: Thanks for coming in yesterday. I missed you when you were in shop but can't wait to read what you've got on the G13. The Jack Flash will be done in about a week, everyone always gives it props.
Ry: We're about to bring on a new line of edibles, really impressive. Organic from the bud up, great flavor. The 'Cappuccino Crisp' I tried had organic orange zest in it that took the whole thing up a level. I'll let you know when we get them in.

Releaf, our pleasure. Don't know yet what we'll have to say, but I know it will be honest to our experience. I love nothing more than finding some really nice meds that perform consistently across samples. Please email when Jack is ready for us.
