it could have been an honest mistake as Marks people up in nederland are great people to deal with...why not try to talk to them and give them a chance to figure out what happened instead of slamming them in the forum....In my opinion they don't deserve this ......give them a chance to help you...

Oh I hope it doesn't come to that. I know I don't usually need to use a MMC for clones but sometimes in a pinch I have and probably will need to more often in the future too as I've had to re-organize things here and now down to just a bloom room.
I too had problem with some clones I got from you waay back on Frozen Dead Guy weekend, but nothing major just poor health. Luckily no nasties. I picked out the healthiest of the bunch but was a bit let down at the time with the selection (maybe I just had my hopes up too high). Then was really kicking myself an hour later when I stepped into One Brown Mouse and they had some tall, gorgeous & healthy looking clones, priced the same. But I didn't complain here or take the clones back. No one made me buy them. I knew when I saw them they probably weren't going to make, but made the choice to buy anyway. Hopefully if I ever make it back up to Ned, your clones will be in better shape and I'll give you guys a second go. Your bud selection at the time was incredible though!

he is but Mike has been my bro for almost 30 years, and he does no one harm intensionally ever, he pretty much as I did when I worked there gave our products away. and that is why we are doing so much better because we have an awesome manager Lauren who is not only smart with the books, knows her bud and hurts the eyes by no means. That leaves GM to do the things that made them popular grow the best bud they can, sell it as cheap as GM can and speak truth to power when the State lies. And we know we went through serious changes many centers did with the 70 30 thing but we were prepared just as always a little late to the party (Hippie Alzheimer's). But I am saying GM has made it through it and they are stronger for it. And beleive it does not go unnoticed you guys holding back and having respect, my promise is we will earn that respect back and then some.

That's cool. I wasn't meaning any disrespect by any means. I have been busy with school so I imagine there has been lots of change in the months I've been absent for your great town. I want to make it up there and check out what's new with your store after my finals tomorrow. I'm really anxious to see what's new to the shelves.
In a year when everyone gets used to this new regulation, it will a thing of the past and everyone will keep on truckin' and going about their business as usual.

why is it you can be so knowledgable in some threads and in others you just seem to want to upset the mmc's and posters ?
my god this is one of a very small handful of disp. that treat patients the right way and have some of the best medicine in the area. it is your loss if you never try them but believe me when I say they WILL NOT MISS YOU.
why is it some days you are very confrontationable ?
I think I would suggest some better meds for your situation and this is said out of respect and just trying to understand where you are comming from.
I have been on this earth over 60 years and have learned that if you are nice and treat people fairly good nice thing always seem to happen to you.
have a great holiday.

You have that right and I don't believe you would ever come up here anyway (not that driving up here to do your shopping at our store is what matters) I should not have been rude and you have my apologies, you would have every right to bitch if you got treated that way at GM. Apologies from everyone @ GM/

I hate to report that the State will not allow us to sell clones to patients anymore. We are still unsure of their position on seeds.:(:stoned:

the mmc that employs me sells clones. they say that the ban on clone sales is boulder-specific.
most of the strains i've run at home came from GM. sad day if that's that.

i've heard that if the mmc doesn't have a grow license for their retail location they can't sell clones. if your grow is at your mmc, this might not be an issue... assuming that's what going on here..

we dont have the room at the dispensary (center my ass) I will talk with the lawyer and find out specifics for you guys. we will get this straightened out sooner then later.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
copo let me know if you hear different is it a boulder city or county ban?
-
Grateful Meds in Nederland
until yesterday (i think...), i was gardener at a mmc in boulder, unincorperated. it's still in the county, just outside city limits. we turned clones into major business because dispensaries in boulder, proper, couldn't sell clones. we got theirs....
the owner/micromanager is a lawyer, too, and our grow is connected to the dispensary.

pretty sure that's a city thing Mark. Boulder has no onsite growing, and clones ... are. It's on the city of Boulder regs page.
Medical Marijuana Frequently Asked Questions

Patient Lawsuit Dismissed by Colo. Supreme Court
{Denver} -- The patient petition filed with the Colorado Supreme Court last
week was denied on Monday (1/10), only 5 days after it was filed. The
Supreme Court opted not to decide the case, forcing the patient and
caregiver plaintiffs to start in lower courts and work their way through
the appellate courts, a process that will take much longer.
The petition had been filed on Jan. 5, 2011 by Andrew B. Reid, senior
counsel for Springer and Steinberg, P.C., a Denver law firm, on behalf of
Kathleen Chippi, a Nederland caregiver and dispensary owner, and the
Patient and Caregivers Rights Litigation project, an association of
patients, caregivers and physicians that have been harmed by the passage of
these laws.
The petition was an original jurisdiction petition, asking the Supreme
Court to decide urgent constitutional issues. The Court has discretion on
whether to decide original actions and hears only a small percentage of
such petitions filed each year. So its denial of this case was not a total
surprise, but patients had hoped for more compassion from the court.
"Apparently, the Supreme Court does not think that it is a matter of great
urgency that sick and dying people in Colorado are being denied their
constitutional rights of safe and confidential access to medicine," says
plaintiff Kathleen Chippi. "This delay in deciding these constitutional
issues only harms patients by forcing them to wait months or years for the
Court's decision and spend thousands of dollars to decide issues that the
Court knows it will be ruling on eventually. In the meantime, the
Department of Revenue and the state legislature will continue with impunity
to enact unconstitutional laws that harm patients." She says, "We are
being treated like second-class citizens yet again."
The petition had asked the court to overturn large parts of laws passed by
the Colorado legislature last year (HB 10-1284 and SB 10-109) because they
restrict patient access to medicine and violate patient privacy rights
guaranteed by the Colorado Constitution.
The Department of Revenue is in the process of replacing the Colorado
Department of Health and Environment's confidential patient registry with
their own massive government database of patient medicine information. The
new Patient and Medicine Tracking Database and Surveillance System will
cost the state at least $4 million to set up and will be shared by 5
government agencies and state and federal law enforcement. It will include
up to 16,000 different security cameras in Medical Marijuana Centers,
visible to law enforcement via Internet web cameras 24/7. The MMCs will be
required to videotape patients as they purchase their medicine and log each
patient purchase into the database. All of this will be open to law
enforcement, including CBI and DEA, and other agencies on demand.
Just as the state has taken away the Constitutional protection of
caregivers, they are now taking away the Constitutional protection for
patients. MMC applicants were forced to revoke their constitutional right
to be a caregiver in exchange for the statutory privilege of applying to
operate an MMC. Similarly, patients are being told they must revoke their
constitutional right to patient confidentiality in order for the
"privilege" of purchasing their medicine at an MMC. Not only is this is
completely backwards of how the constitution was supposed to work, but it
opens patients up to immeasurable harm if (when) their information is
leaked from the government database. Patients stand to lose their homes,
their jobs, their health insurance, their children and more if it becomes
known that they are medical marijuana patients. That is why confidentiality
is at the foundation of Colorado's Medical Marijuana Constitutional
Amendment.
Chippi and other patients are worried these electronic patient records can
never be secured on the Internet, as evidenced by WikiLeaks and other
recent "accidental" disclosures of records. Once the records have been
leaked, the harm has been done and is irreparable to patients.
Chippi will now file her action in District Court. The Patient and
Caregiver Rights Litigation Project event on Wed. evening to discuss these
issues will continue as scheduled. Please spread the word and invite your
friends:
