I find it very interesting that The Lord did not perform sensational acts to draw attention to himself. He turned away from every opportunity. He performed some sensational acts to heal others, to feed, and times out of necessity. But never in the market place.
Everyone could have easily believed. He has no interest in our intellectual satisfaction, in fact He seems to go out of His way to offend our minds.
It is a heart relationship He desires. The kind of relationships we all really want. Not an intellectual knowledge only hook up, but of one of intimacy and heart.
Forget arguments of proof. One could be argued in then argued out. A relationship is a different level altogether.
Those not believing. . . have you really asked Him if He is real, to please reveal Himself to you.
Satan suggested for Him to throw Himself off the temple (before the crowd). So that ALL would see. He refused. . . I thank God. The example He would have set would have been one where we all (Christians) would have to jump through hoops to prove Him.
Those who Seek Me shall find Me.
Those really interested can inquire.
He will show up.
Both are equally credible. Do you actually see the point behind the blue smurf anology? Anything and everything can be claimed without being able to disprove it, the simple existence of a claim doesn't mean anything.Quote:

It's the same thing if I make the claim that gravitation is guided by trillions of invisible pixies. Gravity is 100% consistent, the planets do indeed orbit in a consistent manner, and my pixie theory therefor fits perfectly with the result. But it's not up to you or anybody to prove me wrong, it's up to ME to prove my pixie theory right.Quote:

(and for the love of god don't say "well you go ahead and believe in your pixies....." figure out the logic in the anology for chists sake.... actually I do appreciate god for all the handy expression's he's given us.)
i like pixie sticks. once, in second grade i got a kid to snort one.
God does not exist because god was invented by man.
How was it for him?....lolQuote:

I would recommend to all my fellow atheists the new book The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins. It wittily and clearly explains why there is almost certainly no God. The basic premise is this:
It is illogical to posit an intelligence as the beginning of the universe, because intelligences are complex beings that require an explanation for how the complexity arose. Darwinian natural selection is the only process by which intelligence is known to arise, and the only one we can conceive of. However, this takes incredibly long timeframes to work, so intelligence can only appear late in the universe.
The creationists had it right all along: it is silly to think that complex things can just come out of nowhere by chance. That's why there is no God.
God does not exist.... until your spirit is ready for it. The kindest most loving giving, caring spirits or souls or people in history all had focused faith in a loving selfless "God". God is Love.
When our spirits are ready I believe we begin a journey to become part of what we all internally desire...Love. Even if it doesn't happen in this lifetime.
God is the spirit of peace, love and happiness. I see God and feel God all the time. God is everywhere. Unfortunately the Devil Babylon also exists and Babylon is the spirit of war and hate and sadness. Babylon is powerful and has a strong hold on Jah Earth at this time. But the spirit of Jah will eventually win out over the spirit of Babylon.
The herb you enjoy is a gift from Jah. Herb carries with it the spirit of God, the spirit of peace and love and happiness. It allows us to see the trickerations of evil, wicked Babylon because we're more connected to our loving, Godly spirit. Peace and Jah Bless.
"Love is my religion."

"I pledged to work for righteousness. God's given me an inspiration. God is the boss, he tell you what to do.
"Devil make smoking illegal because Devil don't want people thinking one way. My friends feel the same as I when we smoke. We reach one another, you know? Dat's what Babylon afraid of, that people all think the same."
"The more man smoke herb, the more Babylon fall."
Bob Marley
