I see what Cola is saying. This has an entirely different feel than Aenima and Lateralus. Structurally it seems shoddy compared to their earlier works.
I can't say it sucks, but it isn't what I expected from Tool. I like a few songs, like The Pot and Wings For Marie (part 1.) I can't indulge in 10,000 days like other Tool albums.
I think this is one of the best albums I've heard in a while. Rosetta Stoned is my favorite song.
Weird, that is the only song on the album I can't stand. I never listen to it.Quote:

i wouldn't say tool sucks, because they are amazing musicians. they just aren't my cup of tea and all their songs sound too similar to me. i have all their albums though. the new one is alright. there's a couple songs that are pretty sweet. and the fact that two of the songs match up with one when played in different media players at the same time. and the 3D album art viewing thing (my roomate bought the CD). and the puzzle thing you have to "figure out" where the pictures are like reflections or taken from different spots in the room. everything done by the band. they are far from suck.
