Keep at it Mand. A lesser grower would have killed those plants by now. You're going to make it, I have absolutely no doubt about that:thumbsup: .Quote:

What if you put an air vent in at the top of the closet, "just thinking outloud here Buk :o". Anyway heat rises so if a vent was put in at the top then maybe that would allow cooler air to be pulled in from the bottom.
I'll just tell a story that gave me that idea :) ...................
I once visted a "Blue John" mine in the peak district of Derbyshire, Blue John is just a blue type of stone that is found nowhere else in the world except for there, it's nothing special but it just looks pretty ;).
Anyway these mines were ventilated very simply, at one shaft the miners used to always keep a fire burning which caused the heat to rise up the shaft but this also caused cool air to be bought in down another entrance and so provided the miners with cool fresh air :)
Now I'm not saying that you should light a fire in the bedroom  but if there was a vent to let out the hot air at the top and a vent to allow the cool air at the bottom ......................... would this be feasible
Hmmm prehaps I'd best shut up :o
Hello Gin :) Thanks for that vote of confidence ;)
I've not cured the problem yet but I think that I have managed to slow it down. I have done everything that may be frowned upon to try and get these plants "back on track" so to speak :o .
Firstly the fan and the thermometer have gone out of there, I've never used them before so why bother now ;).
I re-potted into different compost, prunned them of two nodes each and the bad leaves, sprinkled neat plant food on the top and drenched them to overwatering :o
They are looking better but atill not right yet, so it's just waiting to see how they turn out ;)
love mand xxx:)
been to those mines mand they are cool, that blue stone as you say it aint worth much but it damnn sure looks cool , they have it in most of the shop windows in all the little villages around there as we traveled around derbyshire, buxton, spa, macclesfeild dove holes, and all the little shops had wicked orniments made from this stone, and the growers around that way must love it as they have a fresh water spa in the town centre were they can help themself to mountian stream water with a ph of 6.8 lol buxton water its known all over the world, the postman
had to post that sorry lol.
Hello Dave :) , It's funny how Buk's heat problem reminded me of trips into the peak district :)
I quite often used to go up around the Castleton area with my Mum and Dad on Sunday afternoons for a picnic. We went down the mine were you walked down however I believe there was one that you went underground on a small boat, never did go on that.
I'm showing my age now Dave, but I can remember that on the drive back home I used to persuade my Dad to put top of the pops on radio 1 on. There used to be Slade, Bay City Rollers, David Bowie, all that kind of thing on then and my Dad did nothing but moan about the so called music and the "long haired wierdos" in the charts :)
Oh and when we got to the town of Bakewell, there always seemed to be a cricket match on which my Dad used to make us stop for and watch ................. I was so bored, I've never liked or even understood cricket :o .
I realise now though that they were prehaps the happiest days of my life, young (teenager ;) ), innocent (well innocent-ish :o ) and not a care in the world ;) .
love mand xxx:)
ahhhh they were the days mand .david bowie slade, i was a sex pistols sort of guy myself, lol,now my sons, laugh at all the music i was into, i tell them that their kids will think the sound of artic monkeys will be real funny when they grow up,but they dont listen, anyway hope your grow picks up pal , later the postman.
Oh Dave :), when the Sex Pistols came out I was the original rebelious young "punkette" around these parts :) ................... Honest :o
I loved the punk era :) , I used to try and get the "Souxie and the Banshees" look but never quite managed it, always ended up with the "Mortica Adams" look :o
love mand xxx:)

Anyway last update for a while, my camera is going off on it's travels again, well why should the kids buy on when they can "borrow" mine :o
Hopefully the discolouration has stopped (I really hope that I don't tempt fate too much by saying that :o ). All the new growth since my little temper tantrum with them seems to be coming along clear and if they carry on behaving then I should be "pinching them in about a weeks time.
The first pic just shows a little oddity the grouping has eleven leaves, I've never had that before, also the last pic is the little runt that seems to be "picking up" a bit ................. well at least she is holding her own ;)
