We went with the type one. There is not really a penalty to jump up in license, and that number is the number of patients that have designated you their primary MMC. There are very few that have that paperwork done, considering the forms were released only a few weeks ago.

In your opinion, will the number of type 2 and 3 applications increase substantially moving forward? Said another way, the majority of type 1's will likely increase business, and moving forward being compliant, so they'll increase patient count/inventory?
I'm glad to see roughly 70% of MMC's filed paperwork, that's not close to the 50% that cook and friends wanted to see.

My brother is a card holding patient, and he's working close to you today, so I told him to stop by.
He will be a first time visitor, and you should discuss signing over his caregiver rights to you. Do you note referrals in patients' files? Should I have him mention me?

Lots of people will be jumping up levels. It's just a lot easier for a business to plan on making several $5,000 payments throughout the year than one lump sum. Being a Type 1, to my knowledge, doesn't get you any advantage other than the ability to have more patients. Everyone started back at 0 when they released the new paperwork, so the race is for MMC's of any type to acquire patients.
Our referral program is a free gram for each one he purchases, up to an 1/8th. We'll mark it in the database, so just make sure he includes your FULL NAME on the last page.

I don't have any knowledge of increased plant count recommendations. That comes or will come from the state department of health, not the dept of revenue which oversees you guys now.
Are MMC's recognizing patients with higher plant counts? If I get a higher plant count (99 for example, or 50. Whatever), do I have higher 'value' to you as an MMC? Do you only grow 6 plants (3veg3flwr) and 2 ounces for every patient of yours, and ignore the higher count?
I talked to a guy who stopped growing because of the new regs, but he's still going to grow for himself, and 5 patients with 99counts. So he's still right around 5-600 plants.
Do you know if the authorities would recognize the higher plant count from the department of health?
It seems like this could be a loophole for caregivers who would like to remain compliant but still have larger-than-36-plants?

Extended plant counts are viable, but you need to get a statement from the issuing Doc, I believe. In theory, extended recs are more valuable, but I don't know anyone doing additional benefits because of them.

As always, these are healthy little ladies with NO pests/mildew. $20 a piece.

Made a trip to The Releaf Center this afternoon but was denied admittance because my apps. were mailed under 35 days ago. Thought once your apps. were mailed into the state you were ready to go. Wasted trip, wasted time spent in Denver traffic. :(

This is the policy that we operate under, from Warren Edson's blog:

Lots of questions as to where the 35 days waiting period comes from.
Basically:
A20 allowed you to sell to a patient as an Affirmative Defense caregiver once the patient got the Dr's recommendation.
The "go away at the door" defense under 2(b) kicks in once the patient gets the card AND names the person as a caregiver.
You are no longer caregivers. You are medical marijuana centers. Your right to break the law comes from 1284 now not A20. Thus the only way you are left legally transferring med mj is through the Card and the resulting waiting period or actual arrival of the physical card.
I'm sincerely sorry, the last thing we want to do is turn anyone away. It's been incredibly frustrating, not to mention how illogical it is for the state to make patients wait for their meds. Until this provision is challenged, which it will be, we've got no affirmative defense.
Were you coming in for clones or meds, wkhey4?
