Gardening by The Moon- a discussion of the technique
I find this a bit silly myself. I probably would never accept this as fact. I've had around 95% germ success rate. You are going to get the occassional duds that just dont pop.
And to call this an experiment would require you to maintain a control which I didn't see in this post, maybe I missed it; and your variable (germing by the moon) would tell you whether it gave you better success than the control. In addition to this you would probably have to germ a few hundred seeds (maybe more) to get an accurate reading.
If you think it works more power to you but you'll never catch me waiting for a full moon to germinate my seeds. :hippy:

I have no idea whether 'moon planting' has any benefits or not, but a lot of modern farmers still adhere to it, and the Farmer's Almanac still touts it ... OK, my point is, I am not on either side, I just plant whenever I feel like it, BUT, I think insulting someone over something that is regularly practiced, and harmless in every respect, is just rude and obnoxious ... just leave it the fuck alone, and stop arguing ... now, you kids go play nice :smokin:

The only way I could see this working is if planting outside and perhaps the gravitational pull of the new moon draws water higher up in the soil than normal (I still think even this is far fetched but it would make sense). For indoor growing though I cannot see the relevance.
A quick search pulled up a few other forums having this exact same discussion.. in almost the exact same tone/manner as on here. It's pretty funny.

no point in beating a dead horse besides i enjoyed the secret agent g13 rusty horny dog story better. Being a nerd I would have to say that if you use words that lead to fact other than opinion you should be able to foot note details other than because I said so. Just a humble opinion of someone who doest really give a rats ass. peace

GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS......
Checked on my NLHaze babies and all 3 are girls! Wow! Cool. Never saw that coming!
Decided to name them Faith, Hope, and Charity!
The WRs and COBs are unfortunately, stalled. Still alive, but no growth.
Just got buzzed by the man in a chopper. Odd...weird buzzing sound noted prior to seeing him fly over. Never heard that before. What ever happened to my 500 feet of airspace?!
Sorry to be boring Axxxe. I'll try and think of a good adventure for you. :)

Well, you all know of my work at UofMiss. Soon after I liberated the G-13 and began cloning it, ran into Willie Nelson. We are old friends from way back. Willie loves G-13. It's one of his favorites. Well Willie wanted some clones and I, of course, never take $$$.
So I tell Willie, aren't you headed to Washington to play at the Carter Inaugural Ball? Well Willie wanted those clones so bad he decided to get me in the White House. The only requirement was to bring enough G-13 for everybody.
So me and Willie sneak up to the roof of the White House and are toking up a storm when suddenly we are busted by Jimmy! Even Willie was a little paranoid, but he just keeps on toking. "Hello, Jimmy" sez I, "Congratulations on your inauguration." Jimmy was really super cool and nice. He never said a word while we toked up, just kept talking about farming and such. It seems the Secret Service had told him we were up there and he came up to keep them off our backs. He's a really cool dude.
As far as I know, Willie and I are the only people to get high in the White House to this day.:D

I think I should not call this thread an advanced technique or even an experiment. If I look at the definition of the forum; I think if I have to call this thread anything... it would have to be an
etc.
:D
Thanks for stopping by, I really like your grow. I've been lurking!

Hee, Hee. Thanks for the giggle. LolaGal Waves White Flag on really long white stick.
Hey Rusty, can I have permission to use your handle in my novel? Can't pay you anything, but at least it would be an homage.
