Hey Bub, don't worry if your training doesn't look like a martha stewart flower arrangement. As long as you have lots of bud sites getting equal light it will have good results.
I FIM almost ever plant I grow and it's fun to see what happens. Sometimes (if I just do the top) the top will split into three or more colas, sometimes it doesn't but it gets the side branches to catch up and produce some nice tops too. Sometimes if I have a tree growing larger than it's partners I'll FIM lots of it's branch tips too.

Looks Like a Indica. And holy shit thought u where way behind my grow. Doin good. I got like 9-10 Lighter size budz right now. I am on day 38. The pics look Nice yo. Yup i'd say Indica. But bag seed u never know. Especially from the D. You could end up with sum hybrid purple afghani kush BOmb or sum shit. Anyways I say India/dom if its hybrid it has fat short leaves but thats just my bluntscenece

Magic, they look great. I think it's a hybrid of some sort. Doesn't look like a sativa or indica typical leaf to me. But what do I know......:D
