in my 2000 civic si was about 150. been in a 01 chevy 4 door pickup doing 110 down gravel. 100 in a 98 civic on gravel... but the fastest was in my 85 monte carlo. i swapped out the rearend after i tore the first one out, and i got the speedo checked, with the speedo at 55 i got clocked doing 80. and i had the speedo pegged out shortly after that. i figured i was doing around 180 tops with it, tire size is n50-14 (27 inch di.) with 3.08 in the rear end, and .67 final drive off the tranny. at a little over 4500 on the tach. do the math yourself... i just ran out of power to push it any faster. it blew up the next day. i gave proof on my record, and have people toback me up on that.
165 mph pontiac gto 2005
frickr, your tires were 27 in di. on an 85 monte carlo?
