OUTSTANDING ! - there is a new Green Thumb in the room :thumbsup:

So in the last 24 hrs me and my business partner decided on a whole different plan. Instead of having a single little hoop over the top we went with a big ass crazy fucking card board box lined with mylar. Our plant is looking really good for going through a transplant. We basically got pretty messed up tonight and re-did the whole structure with kl4d4 and now its bomb tomorrow when i get motivated ill post some pictures............

Alright well here are some new pics. The plant got a bit burned but nothing bad at all, The light was accidentally pushed up on it so it got a lil to hot. Right now we have the plant running on 18-6 and we are using three lights. Soon were going to get another two in there so we can really energize our baby.

I'm pretty sure within a week we will know if its female or male. She is really taking off im thinking were probably going to start LST'ing it really soon.

Does anyone know if indica plants can be lst'd? and if it is good for maximum yield on that type of plant? I don't wanna mess with it if its not good for that type of plant.

Were also using moisture control soil, haven't read much on people using it and their results so i guess ours is an experiment!

I also forgot to add that last night was probably the most scary thing for us and the plant. The chicks that live next door came busting in on my buddies room where the plant is. Me and kl4d4 were in the closet holding the door with all our might. They kept asking for us to open the door but we wouldn't. We don't want anyone finding out and ratting us out. We honestly felt like anne frank it was some crazy shit!. But all is good the girls went away after 15 minutes of pounding and pulling on the door. They kept asking what we were doing and my only reply was im smoking leave me alone!!!!!

you can lst any plant buddy....so when you gonna kick it into flowering?

O yea i forgot to asl what strain is that?

? shouldn't we wait until its a little bigger before we start flowing?

are you flowering with cfl's? if so i would flower imediately; this will allow you to easily light the plant, with much less stretch

Thats up to the growe but i usually start flowering when my plants are close to 12 inches tall(1 ft) but you can force fower your plant anytime you want but most ppl that force flower wait untill 4-7 nodes.....But urs still looks a little small so yes id let it get bigger and remember the standard veg time is usually around 2 months.So your grow is going good

I was going to say, so KP was saying to force flower it just to figure out its sex and then put it back into veg with 18/6. I think the 18/6 alone with that one warm bulb in there will make the sex be known sooner or later here.

Other wise I think between 4-6 nodes will be fine too, the more nodes the more bloom and a room to snipe clones if you decide to

Female Male? If you look at where the string is tied and you go up a lil bit i really think there are female parts but within a couple days we'll know for sure!:)

I think it looked just like mine did growing up and mine turned up female.. you got a fan on the lights things are chill, and the plants just paying back the good energy.

Can't wait to see how long it perks up to the light ahead now that its been watered!

Here are some new pics. We moved the string down more so it will keep growing towards the edge of the pot then were going to turn it and make a circle.

looking good. Unless it is an autoflowering strain like lowryder your plant won't show sex until you flip your lights to a 12 hrs on 12 hrs off cycle, and the off cycle is totally dark.

Let those side shoots get nice and big then flower

they sell them at walmart for $5.94 in the hardware and lighting area and they move around and come ready to hang ! ! ! i love them or if you really want to push some light

also if you are in need of cheap mylar back in the camping area of walmart there a mylar blankets list as "Emergency Survival Blankets" for $0.94 man i love walmart lol look forward to you future postings... anything else just ask:thumbsup:

Tweed as far as LSTing... one of the nights before you're going to water untie it and let it stretch back up lose to the top assuming it can.. maybe it'll be so well trained ;) Water it and bend it back... i think it makes the stems stronger until someday you get a larger fan.

As far as the sexing... doubt what you had is a auto flowerer but he was saying you're gonna have to wait for a while til it'll show its sex aka 12/12

But I don't agree with him, just keep checking the new nodes that grow for the first clues... the little white pistils will emerge. If you're planning on letting the plant grow large enough like you were seeming to say you were planning to do the plant will show preflowers... and will then flower when you switch it to 12/12 when ready.

Hey do you think it would be ok if we cut off a big fan leaf so some of the undergrowth can get light and grow bigger! Could i make a fan leaf a clone?

umm as far as i know i dont think you can make a fan leaf a clone...i may be wrong on that but i really dont think you can.

You need a branch with 2ndary growth on it... with your ambitions of flowering I think they'll start to come in pretty soon especially if you have added some more lights if I remember correctly.... I'm going to have to go and get 4 more bulbs tomorrow and rock my shit out... and im gonna plug this hardcore mmm I can nurture a seedling but I'd wanna use organic soil...

due to the knowledge of a friend of mine i didn't start to flower quite yet...but i did switch the light cycle to 14/10 for a couple days here

Give it more time.

You should switch the light cycle to 12/12. The less light the faster it will start to flower. But don't go less than 12hrs of light because then you will have initial and post-veg growth issues.

If you're giving it any type of fertz, stop. She looks a bit dry if you ask me.
